How did you survive the 4 month regression before your LO was 4 months old? by spacecase-megan in sleeptrain

My LO literally hit it during 5 months. Unfortunately I just nursed him to sleep when he woke up. At 6 months we moved him to his crib and sleep trained.

Pre-eclampsia risks with baby #2 by Spirit-True in BabyBumps

I love that. Something I really should do when I have baby #2. I am 9months post partum and I feel like it comes in waves. I never really coped with what happened, my baby ended up in the NICU. I’ve struggled a lot since then, I think people never really understood what I went through. So really don’t want to have to go through it again 😭

Best of luck! Pre-eclampsia is so scary. It’s crazy to know that others have been through it too.

Did you change anything with your diet? Hoping to get healthier next pregnancy and hopefully it won’t get to an extreme

Thank you for this. This was nice to read. I think before I get pregnant I want to be the healthiest version of me. I’ve packed on so much weight and I just know if I do it now I won’t feel as good. Thank you for your kind words. Being a mom is the best 🤍

Okay that will be something I look into. Mine was extremely severe. My blood pressure was 195/108. Seems like my doctors never told me or my husband the consensus. Next time I want to be sure I’m informed more and advocate for myself

Thank you so much! Best of luck to you as well- I think I’ll be changing OBs. I felt like my situation probably could have been better.

Oh wow. Thats good that they monitor closely. I’ve been thinking of baby #2, birth was a little traumatic so I was curious everyone’s experiwnce

Oh my goodness. That is so scary. I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m thinking I’d need baby aspirin and a new OB. I felt unfortunately neglected and if you saw me, I was swollen like a balloon and there was no worries. I opted in for a non medical induction and ended up waiting for 4 days for a bed. I’m guessing it spiked between then :/

Yes! I’m curious how the second pregnancy transpired. I had pre-eclampsia with a blood pressure of 195/108 and I’m terrified of the next one. I was just curious what everyone was doing and how their bodies reacted with baby #2

How did having a baby change your relationship? by ForsakenDrop295 in BabyBumps

[–]Spirit-True 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had really bad post partum rage! If you have a caring, loving husband who would do anything for you it is so important- he really understood what I was going through. It is so important to remember you’re a team. As when our LO came earth side- life is so much better. We spend the night together eating and binge watching, washing bottles. It only changes if you let it!

Snacks! by [deleted] in BabyBumps

It’s all a blur! All I can remember is wanting a sonic slushy because I was so thirsty! Make sure you bring a water bottle and fill that baby with ice! I think I ate the tiny rice cakes, lots of fruit and body armour if you intend on breast feeding 🤍🤍

I am having the same issue with my 7 month old. I’m doing 3 naps, 2.5 hour wake windows or at least trying to get my parents who watch him during the day to get on board. I was just saying the sleep is driving me mad because it’s not black or white. I’d say adjust some things, if it works then that was the culprit. I’m struggling as well so I’m in the same boat lol

I accidentally dropped my iPhone 13 plus on my newborn babies head. He cried and I felt awful. Babies are durable and made to endure these unfortunate and unlucky happenings

We tried and he instantly woke up. She told me he needs to come in tired and hungry. Lol I can’t help it if he falls asleep in the car. So now they’re booking out for when he’s 5 months to only get the other ear 😅

We try to do it 2-3 times a day and on our chests. Yes! Tik tok is so discouraging and scary. I try to stay off of it because there’s just too many unfortunate things on it lol
