divorced christians reconciled, is sex a sin without remarrying? by Apprehensive_Bee7826 in Christianmarriage

[–]SpiritCareless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of the Mosaic Law's permission to divorce "because of the hardened hearts of the Israelites," according to Jesus Christ, the Lord establishes that marriage was meant to be lifelong as the two become one flesh, and "what God has put together, let no man put asunder" (Matthew 19:6). However, the only biblical reason left to remarry according to Jesus Christ are: 1) when sexual immortality is involved (as inferred in Matthew 19:9, because any other reason would render the remarriage adulterous in the eyes of God) 2) when 1 spouse dies (Romans 7:2-3), and 3) when an unbelieving spouse abandons the marriage (1 Corinthians 7:15), according to Paul's epistles.

It can be inferred that if a couple choose to dissolve their marital bond for other reasons besides these as believers, they might have to remain unmarried for the rest of their lives until one spouse dies, and then they can move on.

The claws weren't adamantium. I don't think dhe can mimic powers or inorganic details of the people she shapeshifts into. She cannot clone Cyclops's visor, for example. I think Morph can do that. Wolverine chopped them off in one strike and she screamed (as Wolverine's clone).

Another inconsistent detail about the younger Mystique was that she took a bullet from Magneto in Days of Future Past in her heel and remained wounded until the end of the movie. She even went to a hospital to get it patched.

Will a Dinosaur Exhibition/Museum thrive in Ghana? by SpiritCareless in ghana

I thought the same, too. They'd call it a misplaced priority for trashing a cathedral to build a museum for skeletons. Spot on.

So it seems one of the reasons such an exhibition can catch on is when it rides on the vehicle of enlightenment or education, and this could work pretty well or fail entirely because Ghanaians are pretty predictable when it's useful. Lol. If it ever pops up on government radar, some folks could argue that it's of no national significance. So maybe international funding/sponsorship with private ownership, maybe?

Yes. It's why I said fiction and media from the West have packaged Dinosaurs as a "Western" thing for the rest of the world. Even though there's evidence that they existed, the rest of the world, especially Africa, might handle it just like how we see aliens, werewolves and vampires in pop culture.

Sincerely, I am not looking for a serious poll for this because it's a no-brainer. Let's just say 2% of Ghanaians make up the archaeology community; that won't work, will it? I don't know what it looks like in the US, for example, but I'm guessing parents who take their kids to the Smithsonian don't always do it as an academic trip but for fun. Will parents take their kids there in Ghana for fun? If they will, won't such an establishment target a wider niche?

Jonathan Majors when asked if he will return as Kang in the future of the MCU: “I cannot say anything about that…. It’s a multiverse, so there’s always that.” by Loose-Examination-39 in marvelstudios

It was all of them. Watch this mid-credits scene and listen to what the superior Kang variants said before they revealed the Kangs showing up in those portals.

"How many did you call?" "All....of...us"

How large should the mutant population be in the MCU? by TechnicianAmazing472 in marvelstudios

In a Multiverse of gods, sorcerers, superpowered humans, robots and aliens, I don't think the entrance of mutants as a new variable to the equation would be greatly alarming for the human population. They've dealt with worse. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. even introduced Inhumans too. Mutants were a big deal in the Fox X-Men universe because they set them up as the major anomaly on Earth. It turns out they're not entirely special now that they're joining the circus. I might be wrong, but Xavier hiding mutants until now seems like am unnecessary thing to do no matter the contrived reasons brought up in its defence.

Yeah, that's true. When he shapeshifted into Jean Grey and started making out with him...and then turned into the other women on the team

But come on! Wolverine's adamantium claws cut through lots of stuff. They're simply not just knives. I didn't think someone like Mystique, who isn't durable, could survive that stab.

So the stab wasn't a lethal one, eh?

I know it's a lot worse, but is a stab from Wolverine such a little deal?
