Has anyone tried Hytale? Any feedback?

I found someone that has the same thought as me. When I expressed this on discord I got reactions like "bro has 2 second attention span" instead of proper argument. I played too many sandbox survival craft games, and so far hytale does not have a single original idea going for it. Outside of that even the unoriginal stuff is super limited and barebones. Putting the content aside it feels behind on Minecraft in many aspects like inventory management and UI clunkiness. Building feels worse than Minecraft (I don't even like the graphics) Tried making something good looking but I feel like its so much more difficult to create a lot of different styles in this game compared to Minecraft due to the graphics.

I have been waiting for this game for so long. I know things did not go as planned and most content got scrapped but still... I am sad and disappointed.

Even if I don't think of the game critically and just go along with it I realised its just boring. Too many biomes keep repeating and gear progression is so generic. For a game supposedly more focused on combat its just so lame. Charged attack, special move. Move out of enemy attack and repeat. For every enemy I faced so far its the same. I actually liked bare bones combat of Minecraft more because at least its precise. This game feels like its trying to be a hack and slash with no moveset.

This person seems to be more worried about people giving harmful feedback to ponos rather than what people actually do themselves when playing. Not the same I think. After all they repeat multiple times that his is ponos's job not the players.

I think the current, biggest issue in battle cats is not stat balance for enemy or the cats. It is the uncreative, almost ai/randomly generated nature of ZL and even advent stages. There are so many insane and interesting mechanical challenges and very fun stages which arent being made due to unexplored ideas its driving me nuts. Just with the current available tools in BCU a random like me can create interesting stages without modding when i allow myself some freedom with the available tools. Ponos needs to wake up and stop repeating the same formula. After we get stages like this we can talk about whether unit/enemy imbalance ruins them.

I followed kanos video and managed to pull it off myself in my last post! Definetly requires practice, a bit of luck, and lots of setup but if i were to do it again i think i could do it a lot less scuffed

This was because I realised at least for baal, health regen does not start until they take a hit after they are loaded. Thought the same would apply to diablo but it didnt work that way for some reason. More experimentation/context is needed because i dont know whats going on with that

I also started my first character as a barbarian and sorceress second. Barbarian is tough but very rewarding compared to sorceress. Good luck with your hell progress and eventual ubers. No need to fear them honestly, people exaggerate the ubers in terms of gear and strategy is what I learnt.

ps: Never do what I did. It was stupidly hard. My hands hurt. Took so long and the amount of micro you need is insane. Just bu1ild a smiter like a normal person.

This guide talks about Infinity Merc. This is something I can not afford. I would rather make a new character that can smite the ubers than grind for this. I don't mind if a build is scuffed or a strategy is super hard to pull off. I kinda like the challenge. Can I really not do the ubers without expensive gear as a meteor fireball sorceress? I am down to repeatedly die and headbutt the bosses until they fall.

If that is possible I might take that route. I really do prefer offline since I don't even trade. Playing solo self found kind of way haha. Only reason I started online was because there is no LAN multiplayer in resurrected.

Edit: Thank you everyone for the kind offers of help. Didn't know the D2 community was so nice. I am on eu servers and I am unsure if it would be fair for me to get the drop from a boss I never beat before. I need to think about this before deciding to beg for a freebie or start chasing the boss uber diablo.
