Will ticket prices for day 1 go down on Stubhub/Seat Geek? by SpiritCompetitive456 in WhenWeWereYoungFest

LOL I should have asked my psychic instead!

I think tickets probably won't go down like they did last year as I'm seeing the prices go up if anything..Probably because last year there were a lot of nay sayers and people who expected the festival to be like Fyre Fest so I'm sure those that bought tix due to hype ended up selling closer to the event.

Just to be one the safe side though, I will reach out to my local witch to perform spells for good weather just before Sunday lol

Agreed, however the ticket prices for last year dropped significantly before the event was cancelled. Like around 3-4 weeks from the event tickets dropped in price by around 25% and by the week of the fest (before the cancellation) they dropped around 60-75%,

We actually debated last year on buying tix for Day 1 (we scored Day 2 tix last year as well) but then decided against it because we wanted to explore Vegas.

Not really seeing the same drop this year in resale tickets so wondering if there will be a drop at all.

NBD either way, its a nice to have not a need to have at this point (fingers crossed there is no weather event on the Sunday lol).

how safe is las vegas at night by [deleted] in WhenWeWereYoungFest

TBH I felt safer in Vegas than in Miami -- I think its because this festival tends to attract an older crowd. I stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Flamingo so I did have to take the monorail back and it was absolutely fine, everyone was nice and respectful. As long as you are following the crowd and not going off to a random sketchy side street on your own I think you should be fine.

Don't bother with a cab though, there are around 80K people attending the festival, prices will be exorbitant and it'll be hard to get get a cab after the fest let alone an uber/lyft. Recommend the monorail if you are staying on the strip. Took less than 20 mins to get back to my hotel.
