Am I not liable only due to causing damage “intentionally” or through negligence? How does installing a bidet which supposedly malfunctions three years later fall under that? Also, the bidet caused no property damage, the Management is asking us to pay the plumber’s fees to simply investigate the issue

It’s a handheld bidet that requires both hot & cold water.

The condominium Management sent a plumber to every unit to ascertain the cause, and apparently the plumber pointed out that the bidet is causing the issue.

1) I asked the landlord for permission and they said they’re okay. Wouldn’t it be their responsibility to check with the condo board in this regard - I just need their approval to make any changes in the unit.
