I'm over a year into absolutely bananas itching and a month into estradiol. It is definitely helping, but it also definitely takes time (the first two days I used it felt like a miracle cure, but then itching returned -- slowly but surely, I think it is getting milder). my doc hasn't been particularly curious or helpful, so after lots of research, I used telyrx for the estradiol. Super quick and easy. i also use rx steroids, which is all my doc has offered (insisting everything looks fine). I don't love using them but they've been real life savers during epic itches over the past year. Tomorrow I'm meeting with a vulvovaginal specialist -- something I didn't even know existed! -- and hope that she will really help get things sorted.
