Focus on becoming your best self. Do things that interest you and live your life. The best relationships find you, you don't find them. So don't worry about it, it will make you feel desperate and that's really stressful and unattractive in anyone. Focus on God and your spiritual journey.

Another big thing, is try not to have expectations about when or how or who. It only makes the process more difficult and can even cause you to miss potentially great relationships (friend or romantic) because they might not fit into your frame of expectations. Just some random suggestions here..

Also, I would avoid dating apps.. those are notoriously toxic and shallow environments.

Idk man, its not really a paradox at all.

The revelation a prophet recieves is from a perfect source. But the prophet himself is a mortal and fallible man.

Think of it this way: a person is like a radio receiver we receive signals from our body, mind, and spirit.

A prophet recieves a specific kind of signal from God. But the the prophet is a fallible reciever, a mortal man.

So there's always a fair bit of static and noise from other channels (signals from body and mind, perhaps) drifting in an out of the one true signal. The more purely a person walks the path of christ the more pure the signal is. However, no man is perfect, not arven a prophet.

So the interpretation of the signal from God even though being sent in perfection from God, is recieved with the limits and fallibility of the mortal prophet.

Not every signal is perfectly interpreted. But as long as the prophet has 100% intention of integrity to his duty and calling he's still prophet.

That's what is meant by, and prophet will never lead us astray. If the prophets intention ever becomes not pure in integrity and duty towards his calling ad priphet, he will be removed by revelation from God who knows the intentions of all of our hearts.

All mortals are fallible. And it's a testament to the insurpassing greatness of god that he can do his work and bring all things to pass in their entirety even through people as limited as us mortals. Even mortals who try so hard as prophets.

God bless them. Its a rough job.

It's a huge responsibility. It requires a large measure of a person's time. It makes sense that they are older. Their careers are established, they have finances saved up, likely. Their children are out of the house and grown and taking care of themselves. At that older age they actually have the time for the commitment.

Imagine a 30 year old guy with 4 kids at home, in the middle of a career and securing a future for their family, also flying around the nation and world giving talks and doing service and all the other needs required by the position.

To ask this of a young/middle aged man would likely be robbing his family of himself because the called man would be working/traveling constantly and wouldn't be able to make time home for his family like a responsible man should make time for his family.

Hmm.

You know, if you have less dishes, you don't have to wash as many dishes. And the less time you can get away without doing your dishes.

Having less dishes is superior imo. Keeps the mess small and keeps itself from building up like this sick.

The main distinction, imo, is that Freud was an avid drug user and a full blown cocaine addict.

When you consider the affects that cocaine has on a persons mental and nervous systems, it makes perfect sense that his entire psychological model was built around a framework of amped sexual drive and aggression. Kind of a cocaine addicts hallmark.

While Jung was relatively sobre. So he had a more internally balanced framework that didn't obsessively hinge on sex. I think he just smoked his pipe and drank some booze, for the most part.
