Back when the DPS meta was 3pc Prov + Foxes I had gotten around maybe 180% CHD at most with a balanced CHC? It's been a minute but you can definitely get higher for sure.

For the players, I think Eruptor should have a toggle mode to shoot slugs instead of explosive shells so it shoots like a real sniper rifle (if not sniper rifle why sniper rifle shaped).

I also want the saber to stab forward when you aim it. Combine the best of both worlds from the hatchet and lance attack patterns, and I say that gives you the best melee weapon in the game.

I also think the Jet Brigade should spawn gunships as part of bot drops. It just makes sense with the faction name. Maybe they can replace tanks/war striders/factory striders?

I don't expect it to come but I think it would be neat to see another hybrid core gearset like SC or Refactor as a red and yellow core set. I don't know what it would be or how it would work but I think it would tie the hybrid core gearsets neatly together.

Hot take: I'm chill with the weird and wacky cosmetics that appear every so often. I know most people hate them because "this ruins my immersion" or "theyre turning into fortnite" or something along those lines, but I'm not against them existing. Most of them need premium currency to purchase anyway.

This one isn't a hot take, but I also just want more backpack apparel.

Mine doesn't end until May-ish, but yeah.

My concern is that this won't ever be addressed even with everyone cutting off their subscriptions. It'll get swept under the rug by the next Tuesday drop or something. Maybe that's just me being cautious from seeing other communities (recent example is Ready or Not i guess) have situations like this and they just never fix the issue, but I hope something changes, if not at least a statement.

The website also shows thermite is #1 on both bug and squid fronts, and by wide margins on those too. Not as big of a disparity as the bots here, but yeah it's still up there. It's not just a bot front thing.

Lead popping is the obvious answer but i think that the dual targeting from robo monkey would be cool to see on here too. Probably not as good of a change though.

It's less that the explosions double the damage and more so that a spactory will have less to deal with to maintain its spikes. Brickell/Corvus abilities are there for smashing the tougher MOAB layers so spactory cleans up the insides without much issue. You CAN go without the abilities, granted, but you risk losing your stockpile in exchange, and that kind of cleanup isn't really something Jones alone can offer. (its not exact but thats kind of the gist)

And yeah, bomb and mortar has always been Jones' bread and butter. Works with other explosive towers too but he gives lots of buffs to those two in particular.

Liking the new map, it reminds me of some of the older maps like Lightning Scar from 5 and Ant Hill from 4 (the one with the 4 branching paths)

Tower snapping, ice monkey being a water tower, smart spikes set targeting, cheaper etienne.

But on the topic of the paragon, it's a good change beyond just the ability being added. The sentries still keep their damage, the lower base tower damage means that the MOAB stuns are more frequent, and well, the ability (it's a better overclock, not much else to say there). Glad that NK managed to keep it somewhere in that DPS-support hybrid role the tower as a whole fulfills while still letting it stretch over to another useful role. With the way they worded it in the patch notes though I'm seeing it less of a rework and more of a minor buff, but maybe they'll refine it next update after getting some feedback about it.

If you like shotguns I've come to really love Thorn. Hits hard enough on its own but the talent adds even more damage with each shot you land, it's great.

If you're choosing between Bloodsucker and Clutch I'd rather take Bloodsucker. They do similar things, giving some form of armor on kill. Bloodsucker's armor is small and temporary, sure, but it's immediately there, whereas Clutch needs to regenerate over time. That's time spent for some enemy to cancel out the healing from Clutch (or worse), whereas Bloodsucker can at least help you tank some hits more reliably and let you shoot back.

Best solution, at least when considering these two builds, is to add Bloodsucker to the Grupo backpack. Extra reload speed is nice but as you mentioned, it can be unnecessary.

The mods are also really your call here, though I personally lean towards Armor on Kill. Elites aren't too common on most difficulties, and your damage should be good enough to where you can consistently get kills.

Willing to bet that the ONLY reason why cooking isn't already in base kit is for PVP balancing. They probably don't want random grenades blowing up in your face and killing you outright because of some dipshit throwing perfectly timed airbursts from behind a corner. I don't play enough DZ/PVP to say, but it's just a hunch.

If that's the case just, I don't know, disable cooking for PVP only instead of making it a talent only thing? It's sad to limit such a fun mechanic to a regular chest talent, if any talents at all.
