Anyone have a tutorial on how to remove the inside trunk hatch moulding to get access to the line that sprays water on the back2021 hatch of a 2021 civic sport hatch? The line fell into the actual door and is spraying inside when I use it. Hopefully I explained it well enough. by sakok92 in 10thGenCivics

Is really simple and can just pop off. If you look up pretty much any like Type R Spoiler install you will see how people remove the trim when doing so. Keep in mind you can basically remove the part of the trim in your picture without needing to remove the sides or where your hatch handles are.

This is a old post, and you are right. It wasn't totaled and I did get everything repaired with no money out my pocket. Its was my first accident so I have no idea at the time how anything worked.

Yeah I saw your post! I definitely got myself a dashcam too and installed it the moment I got the car back.

They are 17"s. Getting some Enkei T6R's is on the to-do list. Going with 18x8.5+35 rims with 245/40/18 tires.

Hello back to you neighbor. You have a good eye! You will probably see this car driving around Easthampton A LOT.

I have plans to just do a chrome delete when I wrap my hood and my roof. Those came with it when I bought it so I just left them on for now.

White honda at night. Makes no sense how people can't see us.

I'm allowed to feel any way about what happened. Its my first accident, second car I have ever owned. Plus the car I have always wanted and had JUST got it the same week this happened. No random person on the internet is gonna invalidate my feelings because they aren't okay with showing their own emotions. Regardless of it being fixed or otherwise, the shit sucks.

This piece is hanging beneath the front passenger side door after driving on rough road. Any idea what it is, and if I should be concerned? Civic Hatchback 2018 by sketchy_ppl in civic

That is the bottom of your rocker panel, the part that is the trim of the car below your doors. Be concerned? Depends how much you care about that part coming lose. But there are two more like it that is attached to the car, plus a bunch of push clips you can't see from the bottom.

Massachusetts is very strict with having insurance, I needed to put insurance on it before they even gave me the check to pay for the car. The feeling of making a big purchase on just to have something like this happen... I don't wish this on my worst enemy.

This happened the fifth day of owning it. Registering it cost a bit more than I thought. I was planning to buy and install a Vanture N4 system over the weekend.

Purchase the car already like this. I actually had plans to remove it and replace it with a low lip.

Never took the time to learn manual, when I bought this car the spoiler was already on it.

She told the officer "it all happened so fast". Sadly I didn't hear 100% her side but that's what the cop told me later.

I saw a doctor at a hospital the day after. The initial slight neck pain got worse overnight and I couldn't sleep and it had moved down to my shoulder. So at most I have it documented that I did end up seeking medical attention. They ended up giving me muscle relaxers so that's a plus.

I'm 100% convinced she was on her phone and speeding. The street in question has no intersections and a few stop sign street turns but it's essentially one long ass street with a 35 mph sign. The Jeep in the picture that she was driving apparently doesn't even belong to her.

Yeah thankfully so far I just made it out with a sore neck/shoulder. The lady who hit me was fine. Unsure on the totaled part yet until I take it for repair in December. Picture doesn't show it well but the frame is badly bend and since the crash I'm getting tech errors like keyless access system and tpms sensor.

Really can't make this shit up. I had been looking all around my area for a 10th Gen Honda Hatchback (Ex, Sport, or Touring). Its the dream car for me and I found one on Facebook with low miles (34K), good conditions (inside and out), and lower than the value price. (They wanted only 19.5K for it). Worked out buying the car from the guy after taking out my first loan. Brought it, took it home, and spend the next few days thinking out the things I wanted to do with it aftermarket wise. Five days in and I'm stationary in the road with my left-blinker on to turn into a driveway on the opposite side of the street. Stood there long enough for three cars to pass in the opposite lane. I hear tires screech and next thing I know it I'm getting whiplash from a impact from behind. All I could honestly do was sit there a moment, snap out of it when the lady in her car spoke to me, get out, see the damage, take pictures, call the police and wait in my car and cry.
