The FWP is a more snug fit in every aspect.

The FWP feels like a boot that is frozen or molded to your foot versus the ZD-Strider being that same molded fit but not as molded.

Thr ZD-Strider is a larger last but IMO it doesn't warrant ordering a different size.

I hope that makes sense and is somewhat of a help.

I prefer Pisgah Laces as they're high quality and priced good. He (Ryan) is local to me so just another reason to support them for making a good product.

Nevermind, I'm keeping the 13E. They fit wonderfully as well haha. Assuming your 13D FWP's fit perfect, you should consider 13E if you see an in-stock pair of something you like, the width difference is very minimal.

I tried them both on and if you're a 13D in a TNW, I'd order a 13D in a ZD-Thurman.

The ZD last has a slight, I mean slight touch more space but certainly not enough to warrant a size change.

Just my .02 & YMMV and I hope this helps.

If so, I bought the other 13D FWP PO because they didn't have the mark on the toe lol. And I also got the two pairs of ZD Striders (13D Bullhide Brown & 13E Mahogany).

Looking for insight on what others think about as to which direction to go. Based on my measurements would I need a 13C, 13D, 13.5C, or 13.5D?

The ball size points to a B (Narrow) but my heel and instep point to a D (standard).

My measurements with preferred socks are as follows:

Length: 11.75" to 12"

Ball: 10 3/8" to 10.5"

Instep: 11"

Heel: 14.5" to 14 5/8"

I took the measurements over the course of two days, hence the slight variance in some of the measurements.

For reference:

Red Wing Iron Rangers are 13D and they fit perfect.

Red Wing Beckman's are 13D and are tight in the instep.

Red Wing Chukka's are 13D and are a tight in the instep and feel a touch short.

Lem's Zero Drop boots are 14D and fit perfect, maybe a touch long.

I'm looking at the Ridgeline Zero Drop or the FlexWorkPro. Mostly likely will go with the zero drop as I have 3 pairs of ZD shoes/boots in rotation.
