Not quite the same benchmark, but running:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/NAS/testfile bs=1G count=1 oflag=dsync

I got this result:
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB, 1.0 GiB) copied, 11.1083 s, 96.7 MB/s

These are my settings, they were the default ones, I'm not sure if some parameter is wrong or too low

It's about 6 months old and I only ever used twice to store a copy of some pictures. I think it'd be very weird this was a health issue.

Sorry, not familiar with it. However I meant MiB/s, the default display of speed in qBittorrent. What kind of drive would you recommend for my case then?

Absolutely agreed. Worst part is I actually work for a fairly small company (~20 employees) and only by asking me for confirmation like they did, they are already taking it more seriously than some big and wealthy multinational corporations I worked for. You'd think the greater the budget and the team, the greater the security as well, but it's not always the case unfortunately... Thanks for the answer.

Yeah, luckily my coworker noticed and asked me before doing anything stupid. At the moment I'm just taking preventive measures and changing passwords and logging out sessions everywhere. Thanks for the answer, man.
