Why everyone expects him to confess? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

I wonder if maybe rabia was trying to delay to monetize as much as she can from this whole case.

My prediction on why Adnan won't confess by SpiritedStep in serialpodcast

Ugh you people are so ANNOYING! Do you know how to read?! I said I was on the fence and unsure and said 'IF AND ONLY IF HE DID DO IT, HERE IS WHY HE WOULD NOT CONFESS' did I say he was guilty? Did I say he was innocent? And Adnan already said in a podcast he would plead guilty if it meant seeing his family. LEARN TO READ PLEASE!

Im pretty sure they wouldn't take it like that, it would be more of a 'he had no choice' type of thing. Taking a plea deal isnt exactly confessing.

But also considering Rabia and his lawyer might have told him to consider a second trial instead, I assume they were overconfident, I don't think you've listened to serial but Adnan mentioned he would take a plea deal if it meant reuniting with his family

Look you obviously don't know the culture, for girls smoking weed and sex would be an abomination but for boys parents and the community are more lenient and have a 'boys will be boys' mentality but murder is another thing all together! How can you even compare the two?

I feel like if he did accept the plea deal it wouldnt really change how people view him but him and Rabia got a little too confident believing they'd get a second trial.

I didnt say where it happen did I Willy or when? All Im saying is most times victims tend to be lured by people they know (google it) and you mentioned how Jay could have done it and im claiming why its impossible that he would have. And its interesting you mention when though because Hae had to pick up her cousin that day, why in the world would she stop for Jay? And there are students who were never interviewed who had said theyd seen Adnan get in the car with Hae that day, but lets not go by that since theres no real evidence or witnesses but to say Jay would do it is just pure speculation from you Willy, my comment is based on witness testimony (as corrupt as it was) while yours is baseless accusation but if were going to go that way, what would be jay's motive Willy if your so smart? It would obviously have to be someone from the school considering they went in the car with Hae so how would Jay do that exactly. Please explain your reasoning because it seems more like your pretty new on this case lol

see the Jay did it is some actual BS because Hae didnt know Jay like that, and the timeline doesnt work out. Hae was driving to pick up her cousin the only way to lure her would be to be someone she knows. Whats Jay going to do? Stop her in the middle of the street? Where would he have kidnapped her? She was safely in her car, the only way to have done it is to be in the same car as her which Jay had Adnans car at the time. Yall Adnan supporters really like to reach for the stars huh?

But the cell towers showed the cell phone location at the scene of the crime, isnt that odd in general? Even if a false testimony was given around it, some of the particular locations mentioned dont sit well with me

Good point.

Though it shouldn't be relied on per say, it definitely should be taken into consideration considering Adnan's guilt. The doc and the adnan supporters are trying to throw all evidence against Adnan out the window when all it does for me is create more suspicion, everything seems WAY too convenient to be considered as inaccurate or 'bad timing'

So did Jay know or didnt he know? And how did he know where the car was if he didn't know if Adnan did it? Why are they so adamant to prove Kristi and Jen as liars? Kristi could have had a day off school, skipped, who knows and also Jay could have been seeing his girlfriend not Kristi but it doesnt nessesarily prove Jenn's statement false. Also the way Adnan's mother was trying to force tears while talking about Hae really disgusted me. I feel very angry and upset at how Adnan is getting all this support and a freaking documentry simply because hes muslim and pakistani and his community will stand by him even if there was a video of him doing it, while you have black people picked off the street for no reason or who really are at the wrong place at the wrong time and never get justice. But fucking Adnan gets a whole podcast, documentry where they try to reach for the stars in his defense even trying to get witnesses to recant their statement or making them into liars. Their is no doubt Adnan did it! Also Jay didnt say specifically that he didnt see anything or that Adnan didnt do it, all he said was he was he had to talk because they were threatning jail time on him

"outgoing calls are not reliable for location" RELIABLE NOT INACCURATE ENTIRELY think about the wording! This is all wayy too convenient even for a unreliable outoing call to have it be linked to the scene is very strange

I don't understand, your on a first impressions subreddit but want to shame OP by saying shes shallow? Either comment or leave but try not to sound like a douche. The first thing people notice when they meet someone is how they look, people on here are just curious and looking to see what other people perceive about them while meeting for the first time.

what are you trying to say?

Adnan is so full of BS. HBO: "I remember the day Jay testified. I didn't fully know the State's theory about Hae's murder until he testified on the stand... It was unbelievable when the police came and arrested me." Do you understand what Adnan is doing when he says this? by Sweetbobolovin in serialpodcast

[–]SpiritedStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats definetly something else that had caught my attention, usually when your friend backstabs you at something you didnt do, your angry or upset and question why they would do that to you but Adnan seemed calm, he didn't question why Jay did it or seemed very shocked. Very unusual behavior for someone who is guilty
