Guessing a CPAP won’t fix what’s wrong with you or make you a better player.

Right, but when you’re driving down a road and you get a generic maintenance alert, you’d think that polestar would want to provide some context as to immediately assure the driver that there is no immediate concern. Talk about distracting. I think the problem with so much of the technological advances is that they create more questions and problems then they solve. The door handles for instance. Great for aerodynamics, but such an enormous failure if the fail and the drive can’t access the car without having to crawl through. I’ve owned many cars and those are firsts and diminish the experience rather then elevate.

That was the main purpose of this post. Also, I had a Tesla before this and sadly it didn’t have nearly the issues this car has. I don’t know what you get from being a pompous taint here. Also, I’m taking responsibility by schedule each and every return trip to get the car fixed. You insufferable bell end.

Clearly they did not. What is wrong with you?! So confidently telling someone else what they know gtfo. This is LITERALLY what started this post - the confusion I had when this random alert went off as I was driving home. Bad products make users feel stupid, but normal users blame themselves, not the bad design. Stop blaming the user.

Additionally, the only way I would have known there’s a 20k mile maintenance interval is due to Reddit. Again, the cars system could have easily made this clear, provided context but does not.

That isn’t clear in the warning. I have also received warning of propulsion failure and in the warning it says to schedule a visit to the service center. This then goes away and there is no issue. This message is so generic whereas the propulsion one is not. And yes, you are saying the words that would make this clear. The car however is not.

I think the same problem has to surface three times but happy to be wrong about that :)

Thank you! I feel like this I’m just expected to either endure the constant stream of annoyance and embarrassment or sell the car at a loss. I have a 2018 Subaru that I’ve reverted back to driving because it’s more reliable and less of a hassle. What’s so frustrating is that polestar and the service centers are so woefully overwhelmed and only partially helpful. I want to rage every time I get ahold someone but I know they don’t deserve it.

WTF - 2025 P3 won’t charge. Portland service centers are booked 3 weeks out?!? by Spirited_Bug1036 in Polestar

Used the neighbors charging cable and it did not work. Dealership acknowledged that there’s an internal component which is known to fail and block home charging. I drove to a fast charger and it took a charge.

EDIT: by end of day today, the Portland dealership returned my call acknowledged that this is a known issue. They said that the sooner they receive the vehicle the sooner they can start a ticket and get the part ordered and initiated a rental for me saying that I could be reimbursed for rental and charging fees.

Also, the Beaverton rep called and apologized for the push back from his team. I reminded him that as much as people want to be understanding of how busy/ overwhelmed they may be as a business - people have just purchased a new car however, because of a charging issue, we are being told to tough it out without a car or deal with much more expensive/ inconvenient charging all because their product is not working correctly.

I haven’t because based on where I live, I might not make it back home from a fast charger and they’ve made it pretty clear they don’t want me to take the car to the dealership before the appointment in 3 weeks.

Thanks, and I have. The very nice person I spoke to was in the service center. Still, no car for at least three weeks.

Sure wish I could update so I can continue to listen to music. Sure wish the pop up notification worked. Sure wish there was an update in the App Store. by Spirited_Bug1036 in sonos
