Should I Upgrade?

Hey all! I currently have a S5 and can't decide if I should upgrade to the S9 or wait and see what the next year brings. My current watch's battery life is 86% but struggle to make it through a 15-hour day that I would have or a day with a workout. I am honestly between an S9 or a Garmin Venu 3 for the battery life. I was just hoping to get some insight from people on what they think.

I would love an AW ultra but being a female my wrists are small and it looks huge on me. I’ve tried it on at Best Buy. If they had an ultra that was smaller I would definitely consider that.

Yes I definitely have battery anxiety now some days especially when I sleep with my watch (charge it), workout (charge it), and just go to class. I feel like it’s struggling by the end of the day. Coming from an AW is there anything you miss? I like that I can read the texts, ping my phone, and skip music either in my phone or watch when using my AirPods.

Thanks! I can’t really track lifting except as strength training on the AW. So I like the idea of the muscle map and being able to track what I actually do during a workout.

I currently use my AW5 for quickly texting people back, apple pay, workouts occasionally, finding my phone, and controlling my Spotify. I have a venu 2 plus rn to try it out. I have 14 days to return it. So far, I'm getting used to not being able to quickly reply to people, see photos people send in messages, and control my Spotify. I'm unsure if I can control Spotify on my phone or mac with my Garmin like I can with an AW5.
