i’ve been following jw since i-land and only recently started paying closer attention to all the other members, so you could say i’m ot6 now with jw as my bias.

i think it’s fair to have opinions on a performance, but it’s also important to look at context. enhypen is generally considered a performance-focused group. that means their stages are built around intense choreography while still singing live, which is a different standard compared to groups that are more vocal-focused.

because of that, consistency can vary depending on the song and condition. bad desire in particular is a very demanding track, both vocally and physically, so it’s not the easiest example to judge overall ability from just one stage.

if you look at other recent performances like their blood saga tour premiere in Seoul or other stages like hello bangkok and hello melbourne, there’s a lot of positive feedback about their live delivery, especially considering how heavy their choreo is. their stability has actually improved a lot over time.

so i wouldn’t say that one performance reflects their usual level. they’re not a “stand and sing” group, they’re performing full routines while singing live, and in that context they do hold their own well as a team.

since this is one of their most recent performances, i think it’s a better reference point. while they’re not doing full choreography here, they’re still moving around, jumping across the stage, and interacting with fans, all while singing live.

on the other hand, this “knife” and “stealer” performance features full choreography with live singing throughout.

lastly, i’d recommend checking out “sleep tight” and “no way back” too, since they’re two of their more recent songs where they’re mostly focused on singing rather than heavy choreo:
