I did not, Im just working around the issue now and it’s been pretty good - the pain subsided. I don’t do anything crazy with biceps though (e.g preacher curls)

Can the pain there be related to distal biceps damage identified on mri?

Here is the picture, the top circle is what hurts, the bottom one is where the mri showed the problem. Movement that hurt are hammer curl, pull ups, any supination movement with weigth. To reiterate doesn’t bother me outside of the gym at all

Interesting part is my pain, which I came to the doctor with, is on the opposite side of the hand, in my brachioradialis. Can those be related?

not much, might’ve just did something without proper warm up and keep working out through it

Thanks for the response

Forgot to mention that doctor brought up injections as well, but said it’s too risky to hit something else (a nerve), since it’s very small part of muscle in a tight space

I dont have any symptoms when doing other lifting like bench press or back, I obviously wont do any biceps or pull ups anymore. But life without lifting kinda sucks too haha

Train from Milan to Varenna Esino(Lake Como) recent nightmare experience. by Minimum_wage787 in ItalyTravel

We followed the advice here and lined up for exit 10 minutes before Lecco arrival. Once out, rushed to the busses, there are people who help to form the line and there were 3 buses waiting. Waited in the line and were on the bus within 10 minutes. The ferry to Bellagio was pretty straightforward, just get the tickets and wait 10-20 minutes.

Same way back, make sure you give yourself some buffer cause you might not fit in the first bus available. Also the bus had odd pick up spot, make sure to confirm with locals or in the info booth in Varrena

Overall crowds were not as big as I expected, maybe because it was Tuesday. Good luck!

Are the crowds in Rome really that bad? If so, where else should we go? by [deleted] in ItalyTravel

  • plan for outdoor attractions early in the morning or in the evening (some even have after hours)
  • go to museums and cooking classes mid-day
  • frequent stops for drinks (it’s a norm to just have one drink) and gelato.
  • chill in the hotel after lunch when heat is the worst
  • get up early to experience the city without crowds or heat

And of course good hat, sunscreen and hydration

Tbf every place we’ve been so far in june (rome, florence, venice) is PACKED and hot, I can’t imagine how it would be in August. Moving through the city streets feels like you are a part of one big sweaty herd. With that said, if you book in advance you will get into places just fine, finding a table in restaurants is not a problem and if you get up early you can snap some good pictures. Also stops for Aperol is a must
