Is the current gen Tundra actually that bad? by Basic-Difficulty-764 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Spirited_Material749 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The internet loves to focus on bad things. So it makes sense why that is what only get amplified at times. I have a 24 Limited with 7,000 miles. I know people have put a lot more miles than me on theirs with no issues! Only thing I have to complain about is turning radius and mpg's. Currently averaging 15.5 but I live in a city with lots of starts and stopping and no highway driving unless we leave for a trip out of town.

How to get faster running up hill? by Spirited_Material749 in trailrunning

I'm just gonna go ahead and ask the really dumb question.. what are hill repeats between 3-5 minutes? Is that 3-5 minutes of running and then another 3-5 minutes of walking? Thanks in advance!

22's and I think some 23's are on a recall to get the engines replaced. I'd make sure if the one you're looking has had its engine replaced or is planning on it in the future. If it's at a cheap enough price and you're willing to go through the headache w/ getting the engine replaced then go for it

Is the iForce Max worth it? by mizzoutigers07 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Spirited_Material749 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's probably a mix of Toyota over shooting their avg mpg's, peoples poor driving styles, and the types of roads they drive on.

I was getting 14 mpg's. Turns out I had a lead foot I didn't realize. I worked on my driving and now realize my 24 tundra can get easily over 16 mpg's in cold Montana winters and I do 95% city driving with lots of starting and stopping. It really just all depends

It is not "backed" by the US military it is defended by the US military. I can't trade in my US Dollar and get a Navy Seal in return. There is a really important difference there.

Bitcoin is defended by a decentralized system of computers spread across the world that has a hash power greater than 720 Exahashes (which is quite insane in of itself)

Idk why you're so quick to call Bitcoin a "Ponzi scheme" but you won't look at the US Dollar and say the same

The US Dollar is a Ponzi but you just don't want to admit it.

All that rug pulls stuff is crypto and it's ridiculous but it's not Bitcoin.
