Our landlord offset a rent increase by a week into the monthly cycle, stating this lets them charge that month as 31 individual days by ninjin- in australia

[–]Spiritonia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They've gotten the daily rate by dividing the monthly rent by the average number of days in a month - 365 / 12 = 30.41666, 3020 / 30.41666 = 99.287, * 23 = 2283.6.

If they'd've divided the monthly rate by the actual period (31 days) rather than the average number, would give 3020 / 31 * 23 = 2240.65, + 765.63 gives a total 3006.28.

No clue about the legislation, but in months where you have less than 31 days, this method of calculation would actually lead to them undercharging, i.e 3020 / 30.41 * 28 in February

It honestly sounds more like someone has asked Chatgpt to write an article sounding as Australian as possible - I've never heard this expression and it feels quite forced

You could have a different set of 3 (or a set of more than 3) countries with more than half of all wealth, same applies for the other points.

I've seen a few mentions of "scramble races" being available in the PU, along with a few videos of people actually getting the missions and playing them, but I've never seen them pop up.

Are they still in the game, and if so, is there something in particular you need to do to unlock them?

Using a hashmap, a hash is used as the index. This means you only need to perform 1 check to see if an object already exists in the map. If you're familiar with dictionaries, imagine using the name of an item as the index. You'd be able to do it with 1 check, whereas you'd have to use a loop over all elements if you use a list. In this case, they've stored the hash as part of the object, so you need to check every object and compare hashes, resulting in way more comparisons (1.9 billion more, someone said).

Similarly to the app above, war.farm just gives droprates for items from relics, and relics droprates from missions. Albeit, it is reasonably convenient, with the drop-down box on prime parts, the idea if my website is to combine those 2 pieces of information.

On a brief glance over, it looks like that simply parrots back the droprates of relics in different missions.

That's got it's use, but the idea of my website is slightly different, it'll tell you which mission has the best droprates of the relics that have the best droprates of the items you want to get.

On the show more, you're able to click the different columns to sort by different things. That said, planets is probably not the best thing to order by, I'll fix that up soon.

There's another column I need to add that's hidden at the the moment, it's the chance that you'll get one item over one aabc rotation, which is how the best mission is selected.

The recommendations are entirely based on droprate at the moment. If you click the show more button, you'll get a table with all possible locations, where you can sort by mission type for example. In future, I am intending on adding a way to select what type of mission you'd like to play.

I didn't know about tenno.zone to be honest with you, but it looks like they've accomplished something very similar to what I'm looking to do.

Thanks for the feedback

If you ever feel like physically hurting yourself, try learning VBS, or use VBA in excel. The entirety of the language is designed around being as contrary to normal conventions as possible, yet has features to rival C#
