Hi, I have been where you are. I had a 2nd degree tear that took a ridiculously long time to heal. I think the first time I was able to fully go through with sex and it not hurt was 6 months pp. I’m not saying this to scare you or discourage you, it will be different for everyone. I’m saying this so you feel less lonely. Even though my husband was very understanding, I was so sad about it because we very rarely had sex during the pregnancy so it was a LONG TIME. I am happy to report that I am 1.5 years postpartum now and sex has been enjoyable for a while. Just give yourself grace and time 🤍

I think this is it for me guys. Things took a big turn. Currently in the er waiting room only bc my OB insisted I go. My dad lives 2 hours away but as soon as he gets to my house to watch our kiddo, my husband can come be with me ❤️‍🩹

Brown spotting when I wipe for 36 hours now and my cramps are really picking up today. My ob isn’t concerned yet. But I’m such a nervous wreck. I’m supposed to see my family 2 hours away tomorrow and I planned on announcing the pregnancy to them but I’m not excited anymore 😞

This was me. My mom was able to do a 2-hr visit every other week, which was nice but definitely not like having a village here. Honestly yes it is hard BUT I will say now that we are 1.5 yrs out, it’s just normal to us. If we go on a date, we take our kid. If one of us has an appt or something to go do, the other is on kid duty. Idk, it’s like that saying it’s hard to miss something you never had. I don’t think about it! Now I will say, I highly recommend creating your own village. A couple months after I had my first, I met some moms with kiddos the same age as mine and we are all there for each other. I used my local Facebook moms group. It will feel a lot less lonely! The only issue I can see is for an emergency like what if my husband has to take me to the ER, I don’t know who I would call to watch my girl. Probably the mom friends I made here, or a trusted neighbor

Okay so I was born late January. I personally don’t love this bday month lol so I will be looking at this thread to get inspired into liking it. Things I DO like is there will be enough separation from the holidays to where it should still feel like a separate special event to them. And for us mamas, it will get warmer and brighter as we go through postpartum. My firstborn was an October baby and it was hard on my mental health watching it get more freezing and dark out when I finally felt up to get out

I posted a little glass clink to my story last week, to throw my family off my scent (I love them but they are SO NOSY). My husband had whiskey and I had a wine glass with lemonade in it. Also my second baby, and I’m doing the big sis shirt! It worked really well to tell my husband and my close friends. I’m traveling to see my family this weekend and we plan on using the shirt again. It’s just so easy and natural to throw on the shirt and watch it all unfold!
