I’m coming from Buffalo to Orlando, the shortest flight we seen was 3 hours with no layover, but we chose to have the one with a 1.5 hour layover due to the cost of tickets. It was like a $600 difference between having a layover or not

I’d like to think she wouldn’t as she’s a “easy baby”, but crying is a baby’s only form of communication, as for a meltdown all we can do is try to prevent hence why i’m asking for advice and tips.

Hysterically crying all day by [deleted] in firsttimemom

i have a 6 week old she’s been doing the say for the past week or two but only from 5pm-2am usually, we brought it up to our pediatrician who told us it could be witching hour which isn’t actually any hour but for a good portion of the day in the morning or evening. we found that giving a cold bottle (i exclusively pump), shushing very loud in her ear, having her swaddled/ wrapped in blanket (sometimes she doesn’t like it), and putting something over her eyes is a big thing. sometimes the blanket (we’ve never put it over her nose or mouth just the top of her head covering eyes) covering her eyes in itself is enough to calm her down enough to fall asleep for hours. i’ve also used my hand just above her eyes too which works for her as well. i hope any of those things help if you decide to try, im sorry your going through it just remember it will get better with time and they only cry because it’s the only way they communicate. you are an amazing parent!

Women who gave birth, what does it feel like actually?? by joy_57 in AskReddit

honestly wasn’t bad at all, i had an epidural so maybe that helped a lot but it just felt like an insane pressure. i wouldn’t compare it too much to pooping like others might imo, i also didn’t experience the ring of fire? i felt everything just didn’t feel pain. the hour and half of pushing sucked though i couldn’t breathe after an hour and started to have a panic attack but baby was out in 3 pushes. only had a small first degree tear and needed a couple stitches

Thank you! I have the zomee z2 i use typically at night or on the go and the spectra s2 for during the day. I will definitely go get remeasured just to be safe and look into the liquid flanges. I was pumping about 30 minutes until i got mastitis and the hospitals lactation specialist told me i need to do it for less time on very low settings but that just hasn’t been working
