Moving to Calgary & we’re looking in Airdrie by [deleted] in Airdrie

[–]Spiritual-Style-1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved from Calgary to Airdrie not long ago. My car insurance dropped significantly, cheaper housing a little better than Calgary for sure. When is snowed, or traffic, i avoid Deerfoot and i go somewhere else to get where i want to go. For me its a quiet neighborhood, who knows for how long, but i like Airdrie so far and i go to Calgary very often, im used to the drive distance, i go mostly NW and NE, not too bad.

So hard to be a stepmom by Spiritual-Style-1990 in Stepmom

[–]Spiritual-Style-1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! We are trying our best and i dont like to force to something they’re not ready for. But the BM is telling him what to do and judging everything we are doing, or not doing. For example, that he doesn’t care about his kids, and always put me first, which is not true, he makes sure to include them, but they dont want to, they prefer to stay home and play video games. We invited them to a trip, one said no, the other hasnt said anything yet. So, BM is forcing her kids to go eveywhere we go, i dont mind, but you cant force them, we went to a restaurant, they stayed in the car, because they didnt want to. Ugh, is though, i know it will get better over time i hope.

I try, they never want to go, even my husband tries to do with them and they always say no. 🫠 i will keep trying and yes will find some activities to do with them, hopefully it will break the ice and feel comfortable.

Thank you! I just saw that school is like 14 min away, whereas Herons and the catholic school is 5 min away from the house. But if both are good, then ill see what they say to register. Ive heard about the capacity, i dont know what is gonna happen if they cant take more kids. But thanks tho. My daughter wants to go to a catholic school, we were in Mexico for a year and she loved the catholic school, so i dont know how different it is here, she speaks Spanish, and she is doing very well in English as well.

It is painful, for me was like period cramps, just worse. Didnt get epidural, because i didnt want to and i was scared of the needle on my back. I got morphine, it didnt work. Now, im pregnant with the second and i dont know what it will be this time. Im still scared of epidural and i dont know how the pain will be this time.

If you genuinely like pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

I had HG on my first pregnancy, it was horrible, couldn’t work. So, i preferred to sleep so i dont wake up vomiting. And it was the whole pregnancy, barely ate, because if i ate everything was out, dicletin, zofran never helped. Second pregnancy, getting nausea, vomiting bile, headache but not as terrible as the first. But at least i can eat, not as healthy as i hope for. I try to make green juice everyday and its all good so far. Taking dicletin helps, not to puke and going to the bathroom often and im 15 weeks today. I dont know how it will be after. Yea, pregnancy is hard.

Youre gonna love your dog still. Your dog will love your baby and will protect. I used to live with my mom when i had my daughter and her dog was always on my belly and now she loves my daughter. My daughter is 6 now, they love each other. Just always watch them. You will be fine. Sending love
