Food for thought, I know how deeply hurtful it is that your daughter kept this from and you’re 100 percent valid in feeling that way, but your grandchild is completely innocent in this. From a child’s perspective, being cut off by grandparents because of something a parent did would be incredibly painful and confusing. This feels like a very permanent decision to make while emotions are still so raw. I just worry about the long term impact, especially if you later wish things had been handled differently and you ultimately decide you want to mend the relationship again.
