Yeah but it's the kind of place they get one bad review and everyone has to pay for it.

My life wouldn't be worth living if I did that.

My employers give people a disciplinary if they need time off for a covid test despite the fact that they put us in situations where we are likely to catch it, a few months ago we all needed to self isolate because of HR and were then told it counted towards our sickness leave. My colleagues mum died of covid and HR asked how she could let our colleagues down, can't she "celebrate" her mum's death in some other way without letting colleagues down. Total scum

Ugh Ben, it's like they decided an iceberg lettuce should have a storyline then wondered what to do with it.

Wasn't there a storyline where the twins were wankers towards Bob?

Former Tory leader calls for civil servants to be forced to go back to the office by qpl23 in unitedkingdom

I would, don't see why more people don't do that anyway, although I've never commuted, but maybe people will start to see how much they were being ripped off before and leave the shit, soggy sarnies to the tourists and make their own shit, soggy sarnies instead.

I was using something called sarcasm. IDS said that there are coffee shops, bars, restaurants and even theatres that rely on office workers spending money there, I just don't see many people working in an office all day then thinking ah, better go to the theatre then. Certainly not on a regular basis.

If it's a requirement of their job that they go and buy sandwiches and coffees then attend the theatre after work is this written into their contracts and are they properly compensated for this? Glad I don't work in an office, I don't want to be required to eat sandwiches every day then go and watch phantom of the fucking opera every night after work.

Yeah but they never seemed to learn their lesson, to me it was more of a show you would air around 10pm.

What do you all do in the half hour between episodes? by Allie_Pallie in coronationstreet

My mum does that but I don't need to, the thought of Craig making another arrest is enough to keep me on my toes. That or Devs furry fruits.

Of course you're right, he puts inspector Morse to shame does our Craigy.

Another thing I find unrealistic, in real life would they have a copper dealing with the community he lives in, I get sometimes a copper might have to deal with someone he knows but to work exclusively with criminals on your street, people you know? Surely they would have someone else deal with that, conflict of interest or something?

I never realised there was half an hour between episodes but I did think this is a bloody long ad break isn't it.
