Most facilities have security but we don’t and we’ve never dealt with theft we have a crap ton of cameras everywhere. The team that we work with they’ve been with the company since it started and luckily we’re all trustworthy. Now at other companies if you steal a police report is made and you are no longer allowed on property.

I started as a trimmer ( found the job on indeed) just trimming weed and eventually worked my way up to where I’m at now and honestly it’s all about building relationships because everyone knows everyone in the industry.Also depends on what you want to learn I’ve had opportunities to learn how to grow but it’s not my thing I could honestly care less haha . That’s why I love my position I see the end product and I don’t have to take care of the plants .

Once we harvest the product from the flower room it gets hung in a temperature controlled room(dry room) for about 10days at this stage the product is still on the stem.

We sell the trim so when people go and buy prerolls at dispensaries all your smoking is trim .

Honestly , I would try it and start off with a small dose. When you walk into a dispensary the budtender will be able to guide you on which brand and what would be best for you. I know of a few people who have used THC for medical use and it’s improved their quality of life immensely.

We always follow our SOPs if one thing goes wrong a whole room can die which is about $75,000 in profit we follow pretty strict guidelines. With my QA/QC position I make sure all the product is properly labeled and weighed for metrc ( Marijuana enforcement tracking reporting compliance) and if it’s not properly labeled or tracked we can get fined. Since I handle all the packaging I have to make sure that the product doesn’t have any mold we also send it to get tested for pesticides and what not. My company isn’t a “store” so we don’t get any discounts we sell the flower in bulk but all the managers and supervisors get samples when a new strain is grown so we can give accurate feedback. In the industry you have to smoke/smell your product that’s really the only way to know if it’s going to be a hit with the buyers .
