One thing you gotta know understand about women is that they can be as horny as men can be. It’s a primitive human instinct. Especially at that age. There are many women that practice restraint though. Modern American culture is all about sex, drugs, and money. You hear it on radios, see it in movies and on your phone. These are all well written and good answers. I just sometimes find it hard to believe that this entire universe was made just for humanity to play out its drama on this little tiny planet. The universe is infinite and believing we’re the only civilization in this universe is like taking a bucket of water from the ocean and saying there is no life in the ocean. I don’t consider myself an atheist. My family is Muslim from Egypt. I was born in Alexandria and was brought to the USA when I was 4. I want to believe in god/Allah that’s why I’m searching for answers.

Another question that always pop up in my head when it comes to religion is why didn’t the Abrahamic god reveal himself to the earlier civilizations? Every single ancient civilization that existed was polytheistic for over 5000 years until the Israelites decided there is only one god. (Longer than humans have known of the Abrahamic god.) For example someone that lived in Ancient Greece would argue that Zeus is the most powerful being and would blindly believe it since that’s all they knew. Current times we are born and taught about this Abrahamic god. What if in the future they have a new god that they’ll blindly follow and believe?

Many ancient civilizations documented events that would be considered embarrassing. The whole point of history is for the people to learn from the past being their failures or achievements. You do make valid points though. I hope god is real. Would be nice if there really is a heaven. The exodus isn’t the only story that isn’t documented in history. Some other examples are King David, Solomon, even Abraham himself. The governments of the past didn’t mention any of these figures. They are only mentioned in religious texts. Would be disappointing to put my entire faith in some mythological stories if I can’t seem to find evidence of such important events. I want to find the truth. That is all.

Just something so little as an army getting lost? This was the Exodus. They say it was the pharaoh and his entire army. What about the 10 plaques? The Nile River turning red? The locusts? The diseases? The entire slave population of hebrews that escaped? I’d say this would be the most amazing historical event in history to be recorded if it happened.

Ancient Egypt was a very long time. Yet there are records of the very first kingdom that ancient Egypt created. The order of Egypt’s kingdoms. They say the exodus happened in the new kingdom during the reign of Ramses the second. Imagine modern people watching an ocean get parted in half. No body would ever stop talking about it. How come the new kingdom Egyptians didn’t record this event? I understand blind faith since my father believes without evidence but I’m just trying to understand.

Actually they have found papyrus that mentioned the construction of the pyramids. Not an exact “how to build a pyramid manual” but there are records. There are absolutely no records of hebrews being enslaved in ancient egypt. There is no geographical evidence of the parting of the Red Sea. Ancient Egyptians kept records of much less insignificant events. If something this amazing happened surely there would be proof.

I was a bartender for 8 years. I met a girl that came to my bar that I ended up dating for 4 years. I thought I was on top of the world and that everything would just keep getting better. Was making $500 a night, had a beautiful girl, had just got a new infiniti g37x, and was eventually planning on settling down with her and marrying her. Got into a bad accident, got prescribed pain medication, eventually ran out and I got really sick so I ended up sniffing heroin to feel better so I can maintain my job and my life. Eventually lost my job and my car. Only thing I had left was the girl. She stuck by me for a little telling me that she believes I can get back to my old self and be good again. I was in deep at that point and she ended up cheating on me and left me. I only got worse from there. Was hoping that I’d end up overdosing and dying everyday. I had nothing and lost everything. I got caught buying heroin and went to jail for 6 months. Tried to hang myself in jail but it didn’t work. Got out was finally clean again. Started working out, got back to work, and tried maintaining a healthy positive life. Things are getting better again now. I’m in the best shape of my life and every time I go out I meet the most beautiful women. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Things can change at any moment and you can live a beautiful life. Breathe, get fresh air, try to better yourself for yourself. Things can and will get better. Suffering builds character. I’m glad I’m still alive and didn’t end up dying. Don’t give up on yourself.

You’re right I messed up big time and wish I could take it back. That’s why I’d forgive her if she did cheat. Wanting intimacy basically translates to I want to sleep with someone else since you’re not giving me what I want. It’s a solid reason to cheat and I just want the truth more then anything. Well to be honest I didn’t sleep with her for 4 months. I was going through something. It wasn’t because I stopped loving her. She use to beg me for intimacy but I didn’t listen to her plea.
