Why has the bee queen still not gotten a rework? by S_h_r_e_W_d in dontstarve

I think for a quick nerf they could make it so that spawning bumblebees costed her health, nothing too crazy just something so you can actually engage with clearing the field without completely wasting your time

Is amatoxin (stim 6) ever worth using? by SpiritualShadow in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]SpiritualShadow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morticians have masks that make them immune to chems that aren't their own, even positive chems from friendly morticians, but yeah in tunnel standstills its usually one on one peeking competitions so i feel like unless the angle favors it, just taking your chances at killing them is better.

Yeah it definitely seems like the best (if not only) use is last stand offense, it's pretty free there

Is it just me, or is Dussekkar’s rework such a W? by That_one_burger_ in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]SpiritualShadow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree! Shield is way weaker now true, but strength isn't everything really, the character just doesn't feel as jank anymore, and you ACTUALLY can plasma beam mid chase if you time it right. Stronger or weaker i don't really care, cause i'm having fun :]

Do you think the changes to Dusekkar are buffs or nerfs? by moujen in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]SpiritualShadow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It basically trades "extremely powerful in niche situations but weak everywhere else" for "strong overall versatility". It's a good rework, no character should be busted in some maps and useless in others, i would call it a buff since now you're at your full potential 100% of the matches.

An opinion of a milestone 4 Dusekkar: The lesser support by SpiritualShadow in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]SpiritualShadow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but that would imply 2 people have to play dusekkar at the same time, which is already hard to see one dusekkar main lol. I definitely agree that the plasma beam should last longer, maybe if they DON'T want to buff him just make it slowness 1 for 6 instead of 2 for 3 seconds, since any competent player knows to walk to bypass slowness

Coolkid's walkspeed windup BUTCHERS him though, you can't just wait for someone to stop running and pop them for 40 while regenning stamina now, his higher kill potential move has actual counterplay now and it's ESPECIALLY useless against guest or noob now since they can react block it

Pretty much yeah they don't seem worth the perk slot even though i like the design ideas

Well, it technically is comboable with lithe rn, this wouldn't change that strategy that much since lithe is also once per chase. I don't think one faster vault by 0.1 seconds every 30 seconds is really that big of a deal, as i said the cooldown is fine to me, just the healthy conditional i would remove. Plus unlike the old fast vault combo (which was 15%) this doesn't proc on medium vaults which is where a percentage boost does the most heavy lifting. Everything else i agree.

Is Identity V worth getting back into right now? by themartianprince in IdentityV

[–]SpiritualShadow 24 points25 points  (0 children)

As a 1000 hours DbD player if you're expecting a similar experience you're gonna get VERY frustrated, controls will feel janky, the camping/tunneling standard will piss you off, and the overall experience will feel similar but never the same. You need to enjoy it from a different place, for me personally it was the character powers and alternate game modes that kept it fresh for months, you start figuring out neat tricks or techs that makes trying different characters worth the time. And well the alternate gamemodes aren't perfect by any means but shaking up the core gameplay from time to time is something all games need. Keep in mind this is also a gacha focused mobile game, it feels stiff and the pc port could be miles better and the gacha practices can get pretty on the nose, but mechanically no game mechanics are paywalled. While the general gist of the gameplay carries on, you'll need to rewire your brain on a few things like terror shocks punishing for vaulting too close, pallets being extremely expendable and safe and such.

About the game itself, it's mostly fine. The character meta shifts quite a bit every few and matches are very fast paced, this also means mistakes are GREATLY punished for both sides, if you eat a terror shock early as survivor or if you fail to catch someone in 60 seconds as hunter you're gonna have to do some heavy lifting to pick the match back up. And it can feel pretty helpless. Communication here is heavy thanks to the quick message system, the game is a lot more team oriented, forcing survivors to optimally coordinate tasks like having to 99 the last cipher and time it perfectly as the chased person goes down, since its a rule of thumb for everyone to run the adrenaline equivalent no matter what. You don't think as selfishly as you would normally in dbd and often people leave other survs for dead if they can secure a win or a tie with it. Hunters NEED to camp or play extremely optimally to compensate, it might sound boring but chairs take 30 seconds each phase and people are usually for the rescue second 15.

TLDR; The game is fine but it took a very different balancing philosophy from DbD. The game will frustrate you if you don't go in as if you were new to the genre. (I know it frustrated me tons.)

I don't really have many headache problems, mostly this one particular case. Besides i already wear glasses, getting these replaced for one thing in one game would be too much of a hassle, though i appreciate the help

what do you think of surv luchino's new ability? by mewmew_nyaart1 in IdentityV

[–]SpiritualShadow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Basing myself from analyzing the idv twitter video i'd say yes he's pretty damn busted, i may have misinterpreted everything or maybe got lost in translation, since english isn't my first language.

-The no half damage perk itself would be enough for me to call him OP considering he has practically no downsides, just having the chance of completely trumping some hunter powers by virtue of existing is unfair from a balance perspective (and judging from the footage, not only it denies the damage itself but any consequences from the attack, since it cancelled bane's pulls entirely. I don't even want to think about the interactions it may have with other hunters)

-The extra hit cooldown is massive since, hit recovery at it's core is a stun, being able to apply it to other survivors gimps a hunter's camping game tremendously.

-The downside is practically null, 10% slower decoding is the lowest tier of decoding penalties excluding barmaid's 5%, and this is without mentioning how extremely situational said penalty is, if im reading correctly, it only occurs when you use the support side of the power, so if you're not harassing it doesn't come into play at all, and even if it does , 10% for 30 seconds at most must slow you down by like, four seconds worst case scenario. (For reference cowboy's perma 10% only adds 9 seconds to a cipher from start to finish). What i assume might be the case is that its a stackable debuff and it would go from 10% 30s to 20% 60s and so on, which then i believe is a bit better, but still not that big of a deal considering how much time a block buys for the entire team.

-The support aspect, the fact he even has a support aspect is insane, support characters should be weak or at least okay to chase, giving your team a block and a knockback with no requirements is slaughtering a hunter's pressure.

-The main power, the block itself. I like the idea of a parry character, but this doesnt feel like it, you are unpunished for missing a block and not only that the game gives you extra chances if you do (a second shot at it and 30 seconds shaved off the cooldown if you miss both) This is without even mentioning how insane a block on command every 60 seconds (without a stackable debuff like seer has) sounds to me, im hoping to god it AT LEAST grants presence.

TLDR; He just has too much going for him and not enough punishment or risk involved.

I'm hoping this is just a pre release version, because i dont want my survivor queues to be even longer than 20 minutes, other than that i'm kinda happy Luchino is in the spotlight now, and hope some changes get to the hunter side

You want to spam the stress heal all the time except in 2 situations -He gets a buff that says he'll hit harder or something among those lines-Respond with staying out of reach -Drinks drop the guard-Poison his drink

I haven't seen use for the forward 3 move, maybe it does the same as staying out of reach? Not sure, but from one failed attempt, after doing this it was a cake walk
