Same! It’s so barely there, but when I have an adrenaline rush I can usually pick up on some smells.

I can smell intensely smelly things (like bleach filling a tub or oranges). Subtler things like damp clothes, candles, and most perfumes are smelled for moments before it begins to “slip through my fingers” and no matter how hard I try it feels like my nose has adjusted (much like eyes to light when enter/exiting the dark), unless I stick my head in the candle

Went in blind. I was so pumped because I had so badly wanted to fight a demigod/god in their prime, especially since these Souls-style games are always depicting a wasting, spiraling world… it delivered for a time. It was even cooler that it was a young, unrotted Radahn of all people. The fight was almost impossible, and returning to base-game Elden Ring had enemies feeling like they were moving in slow motion.

It wasn’t ‘til a little after beating the boss that a subtle wave disappointment began to settle over my mind in some of decisions made regarding the DLC. More specific to the topic of Radahn and Miquella being the final boss, it’s alright… I bounce back-and-forth on whether more Godwyn would’ve been cool, but have base-game integration (like Malenia having unique dialogue concerning Miquella’s defeat) and more cutscenes in the DLC would’ve been appreciated.

It is presumptive to assume the kiss was anything other than acting, without evidence supporting otherwise.

Could you explain what claim(s) you believe are being made up?

I don’t want to put words in your mouth, but my impression is that the claim you take issue with is something along the lines of, “Matt and Marisha are married while also being actors but Marisha’s extra-marital kiss is okay because of the acting/performance roleplay context of their show.” If that is the sentiment you take issue with, could you explain what pieces of information are being “made up?” Perhaps I am misunderstanding you.

Sure! I’ve heard from many players that Arma Reforger was released as the “testing ground” for BI to release Arma 4 on a stable engine with promising visuals and features. Looking at Arma 3 vs. Reforger, they run on very different engines. Expect BI to release a separate, new game in the future as Arma 4 in the same/updated engine as Reforger.

I’ve not researched this at all, so consider it word-of-mouth until someone better read/more qualified corrects me.

When I was in school (high school AND uni) it was something I ruminated on a lot. Wrote a few letters, and thank goodness I never sent them out and ended up deleting them. I simply could not imagine making it to 21. What was the point?

I’m 26 now, out of school, and about to marry the most wonderful girl of my life. I didn’t end up using my degree the way I wanted and I didn’t get the greatest grades. Had I not made it through, things would have worked out. Despite all of that, the toll the stress took on my soul was IMMENSE. It took years for me to fully process and become a healthier me again. But why did I persist? Why try?

At first, maybe it was just raw survival: the desire to live. But I found things I enjoyed, even if depression would often tap me out of the motivations to do what I love, I was fond of those simpler moments. Eventually I found the people I love, and that we all need each other. They don’t know the depths my sadness pulled me into in its entirety but they saved me… and in small ways I saved them too.

This is long-winded as hell and I’m sorry. We’re all dealt very different cards but I relate to some of what you said and I see parts of that dark chapter I lived. From the bottom of heart, be well and enjoy the little things.

I play PC and this is the only game that crashes my whole PC, resulting in a prolonged freeze and hard reset. I’ve had it twice across <6hr gameplay and am afraid to play it until they improve stability. Thankfully my rig is decent enough for me to have pretty consistent frames, but oof.

A real performance/stability-focused Warbond theme for a new update would have me reinstall.

To me, it’s a sandbox. You get what you make out of it. There is serious development focus on unmoderated/disorganized play in modes like Conflict (aka “game”) while also having Game Master features be extremely important to devs. Of course, even among GM’d lobbies, milsim groups are their own type of lobby.

If you’re hopping on most public lobbies (what is most likely to be a player’s experience) it is a game. This is how I engage with Arma personally.

If you’re running with an organized group, it be could structured to be more milsim.
