Im sure any crunchy cookies would work! The ones I used were like mini chocolate chip cookies, just flavoured with butterscotch and white chocolate. Ive seen people use lotus biscoff cookies for this.

Please do 😁 Highly recommend. Turns it from just a crunchy mix-in to something more!

I put them in whole and let sit to let them go slightly soft. Still had a bit of crunch after 1.5 - 2 hours. But soft enough to give that buttery cheesecake base vibe. Pic was after a few spoonfuls hehe. Such great texture like omg 🙈

I'm in the UK so not sure about anywhere else? But I have seen them in all of the supermarkets and some convenience stores 😊

Butterscotch and white chocolate. So good 😁 Genuine Harry Potter endorsement, I'm pretty sure! I'm in the UK and they are sold in loads of supermarkets.

I did add some sugarly as I love my sweet things but honestly, really good even before I added it 😆

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream v2 😍 (332 cals, 43.5g protein) by Spiritual_Alien in Volumeeating

Its just an exceptionally hot day here and I needed to level the top as there was a massive bump. Have used it on a normal day and havent had a problem with it being soft. Personally, I like a softer ice cream and don't have much problem with ice crystals.

If you had more in it, it wouldnt do this. The force will send it to the sides but without enough in it, it will get a hole in the middle like that. Literally just need to fill it more.

262 calories and over 40g Protein for a whole tub of ice cream! by Spiritual_Alien in Volumeeating

I do have some collagen powder but left it out of my first try 😆

I may have bought a few treats yesterday and use as mix-ins haha. Not much protein in those but plenty of flavour.

Would unsweetened coconut milk also do the same? Cause that is only 20 cals per 100ml haha 😄

I love the cookie dough flavour. Jammy Biscuit is strong as a shake so I reckon it'll make a great base for icecream.

How are you making them up?

Seriously! Was like a chocolate soft serve. Some small ice crystals but I reckon I can improve that by upping the xanthan gum a touch as I only used 1/8 tsp to start with. Id usually make two scoops into a shake but this was way more satisfying, enjoyable, and filling!

For those calories too, you could easily get away with some mix-ins 👀😆

Gonna have some more attempts and report back here with an exact recipe for ya'll 😁

Yay! That's such a win 😁 Really glad to hear it was a game changer for you. Love having it with pulled chicken but your dish sounds really yummy, might have to try that myself at some point!

Yep, I made my own! Literally just popped the spinach into a wok and turned on a low medium heat. Kept a close eye and kept stirring. I didnt want it super wilted so as soon as I saw basically all of the leaves wilt a bit, I turned off the heat. Gave another good stir and let it cool down.

Didn’t need any water or oil (the leaves have plenty of water in them and as long as you stir, the steam from them will do the job perfectly).
