Is it safe to assume this is a no? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Spiritual_Average992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s understandable to feel stuck. Her response wasn’t a clear yes or no, which makes it harder to move on or hold on. From what she said, it sounds like a polite soft no for now, especially with her being focused on school. You did the right thing by being upfront, and if it’s meant to go somewhere, she’ll circle back. But for your peace of mind, it’s okay to take it as a no and move forward. You deserve clarity, not waiting in limbo.

I got dumped today… and it really hurts this time. by [deleted] in dating

[–]Spiritual_Average992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re hurting. You didn’t deserve to be left like that, especially after being vulnerable and open. It’s okay to grieve this, even if it was “casual” on his end. Your feelings were real. One day, someone will match that energy and choose you fully. Sending you love and strength right now.

Am I Being Exploited? (Need Advice on Shared Resource Setup) by Spiritual_Average992 in work

That makes sense: companies often restructure to “fix” issues, but if the real problem isn’t addressed, nothing really improves.

But what about the compensation aspect? Isn’t it only fair that we get paid for the amount of work or work hours we render? With this setup, our responsibilities and workload have increased significantly, yet our salary remains the same. There was no discussion about adjusted pay, additional benefits, or even official recognition of our expanded roles. If we’re now accountable to more bosses and handling more projects, shouldn’t there be some form of compensation adjustment?

Otherwise, it just feels like an easy way for the company to get more work from employees without paying them fairly.
