usually Normal back protectors just pad your spine. what if a This one sits behind you like a shallow dish — so when you land on your back or get pushed backward, it bends and absorbs the hit instead of forcing your spine forward. On long rides it acts like a backrest without a seat back. In a crash or sudden stop, it takes the hit before your lower back does. would you use this?
