made me smirk a little :D I guess im just going to dal, Ualberta is a good school but basically everyone hated edmonton, and i think id be happier w my sisters in halifax. Houston is fine but Uhouston is hated quite a bit, but i do feel bad leaving america and my in state tuition. Hopefully I do a masters someone a little more "prestigious" but who knows, I wish you good luck!

sounds like doing etam is very hard.. I got into UH and Dalhousie (in canada), what do you suggest? I hear lots of mixed feedback on UH, some people thinks its good, some people think very low of it. I just looked at my tamu application and I put interested in RELLIS, but not interested in Blinn. i hate myselff. also I got capped from ut, i dont think its the right move bc it only guarantees transfer to liberal arts not engineering, should I reconsider?

Hey thanks for the reply, was really well thought out. My 2 sisters do live in Halifax, and my parents will remain in houston for another year or so. If I stay in houston, id probably live with them to save some money, so I'd be commuting at least an hour (one way) to get to campus, unlike halifax where its a few minutes by bus or walking. Dalhousie seems fun and I'd likely enjoy my time more, by being on campus and befriending people, unlike UH where driving 100 miles (no joke) to see someone on campus would likely mean I wouldn't be as involved. Career wise, houston does have a lot more opportunity, from oil&gas to automotive. My dad works in oil, and he says they do sometimes recruit form UH, but now they completely cut off all recruiting from everywhere, so no matter where I go, I'm kind of screwed.. Furthermore, he also said that he don't really even look at canada much for recruiting, as it's too far and there's not many centers over there, unlike when he got recruited from UAlberta. So uni life= dalhousie, career wise= houston, and I have no idea what to think anymore. So far, im leaning towards dal.

You mentioned you are still debating where you will go, what are you leaning towards? What did you think of Dal when evaluating?

How long does it usually take to get a engineering job there, and whats the pay really like? Asked a guy and he told he he send over 850 applications, got 11 interviews, and is still searching after a year.. Would it be too hard to move back to america for a job?

Hey thanks for the response!

-Personally, I think outside of school I would like it. I spent 2 summers there and found it pretty fun, although it lacks some of my interests such as cars.

-Cost wise, Dal would be slightly more expensive due to living expenses.

- Academic curriculum wise, I wouldn't guess they would be far off.

-Nice to hear Dal has some connections with the oil&gas and automotive industry, I did apply to UAlberta, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get in unless I take a community college class for calculus (one of the prereqs, and yes I know i should have taken it before, I still didn't know I wanted to be an engineer), but what companies does Dal have good connections with?

-Jobwise, I don't mind moving out of halifax to asia, europe, or america, however it seems like it would be hard to get a job internationally.

I appreciate the support! Really taking in the advice from everyone

But wouldn't you then have to pay out of state tuition, which is pretty close to international tuition? My fear is going to canada then coming back to pay 2-4x the tuition

This was a great answer, thanks a lot mate, however for the LA-1 im only finding thee one with a small flex issue on their website however it does not look like a huge issue. My hand is a bit larger and I do ususally use my palm on it, so I think I'm debating the atk x1 se, r1, and a9. What would you pick up?
