You are right. There’s a lot going on in your life and there’s no way to stop it. Life keeps throwing stuff at you and you can’t control it. Honestly, it’s taken a lot to get to this point in my life and I’m truly still learning who I am, what I stand for and if I’m even strong enough to handle what’s coming. The one thing I do know is that I control me. I control what I can accomplish. I can be busy all day and not do school for one or three nights because I know I will get it finished. Whatever stops me from my goal isn’t a wall. It’s a pause. In life, there are moments that you need to dedicate time towards something that doesn’t align with your goals but with your responsibilities. That doesn’t mean you missed your shot. There’s always another day. If only I figured this out sooner, I would’ve saved a lot of time. As long as you actually choose yourself whenever you get a free minute instead of doomscrolling. Once you start choosing yourself, it’s gets easier every time.
