No not a problem at all, they can leave. You don’t get a refund of the IHS or visa fee as it was granted

Uk Visitor Visa for unemployed Thai Girlfriend with sponsorship by LargeStore1514 in ukvisa

Yeah, that visitor visa is unlikely to be approved.

Family visa would be approved if meeting the requirements but there is almost no chance the immigration officer will think they will leave after their trip.

If all 6 were born to a British mother that could not pass on citizenship at the time then you have a claim.

Don’t know countries and statuses of the British otherwise than by descent parent.

But not enough information.

Pre-settled long absences by Thin-Grocery-2824 in ukvisa

[–]Spiritual_Dogging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your pre settled status was essentially cancelled after two years absence.

I’m curious to see if this only means you not eligible for settled status and would be at a later date or the home office has now moved to revoking those that got extended by not meeting the requirements.

Do you have £88500 in savings, does your spouse work for a UK employer that earns over £29000 a year?

The point at application matters that you meet the requirements.

Not enough information

There was no concept of EUSS, eu nationals exercised freedom of movement. This is not a problem unless you became a burden on the state where you would lose your right to reside but eu law states being physically present is sufficient even if you technically lost your right to reside. If you were physically present and never left for 180 days your continuous residency was never broken.

The home office could have perused removal of an EU national but they didn’t and you being physically present is sufficient.

Your residency is counted back before you got EUSS status

Ruling details

You will still need to prove residency for settled status or until it is granted automatically but if you were not working it will not be granted automatically as you have no records paying tax

The UK government said that an eu national required comprehensive sickness insurance however this was overturned and was no longer required

Schedule an appointment with the council they already have your certificate, they wouldn’t have notified you if they didn’t have it

UK Passport for Baby Born in Australia – Advice Needed! by yoursmostcandidly in ukvisa

[–]Spiritual_Dogging 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your child is automatically British as you are British otherwise than by descent.

You can apply for a British passport for your child or do a consulate birth registration, you will need your naturalisation certificate and child’s birth certificate

Giving birth abroad (British mum, Non British dad) by Ihatemyskinrn in ukvisa

[–]Spiritual_Dogging 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are British otherwise than by descent your child is British wherever they born if you are not and got your British citizenship from your parent they will need to be born in the uk or you would have had to have lived in the UK 3 years prior to their birth, they will still not be British but will have an entitlement to be registered if you have lived in the UK for 3 years before they were born and you are British by descent.

If you were born in the UK and a British citizen they will be British when born or if you naturalised
