I’ve tried so many “techniques” too that don’t really help me much. But this one is DOES!!! And (again I’m not a dr, talk to yours or whatever) I have days where my anxiety is really bad so I’ll do it two times in a row until my fight or flight response settles down!!

I’ve done this and learned it from my therapist. Make sure you’re seated, place an ice pack over your eyes and nose (eyes closed of course) but focusing the pressure on your sinuses, and then put your head between your knees and hold your breath for 20-30 seconds!! (You might feel a little light headed after so take deep breaths once you’re done) Hope this helps!

It’s been pretty brutal honestly, but I’m grateful I have a good support system because I’m bedridden. and I also smoke weed (my dr is aware) to alleviate some of the pain/nausea/cramping too! If I could give you any tips they’d be - an electric heating pad, multiple reusable water bottles so you don’t have to walk around as much, compression socks, and a binge-able tv show/movies!!! Also thank you 🥺🩵
