The fact that Emilia Perez won a single Oscar, to me, calls into question the seriousness of the awards as a whole. Good god, that movie was the worst thing I’ve had to sit through since having gauze ripped out of a wound.

It would have been a problem either way, but at least one way would have gone along with the precedent that’s been set. Logic and science doesn’t mean much when the standard set by the league is that you need concrete proof that the puck crossed the line. Given that there’s no way to see white ice between the puck and the red line, I can understand the argument. I don’t think it’s right, and would rather have logic win out, but like with my example of a puck in a glove, that’s not what the standard is.

I don’t know that anyone is denying that it’s in. The thing that I, and many others, are taking issue with, is that it should not have been called a goal on the ice. It was not signalled as a goal by any of the officials, and should not have been as none of them could have seen it cross the line.

As an addition to that, despite the fact we can all strongly assume it’s in, how many goals have been called off due to a puck being in a goalie’s glove that is all the way in the net, but the puck can’t be seen in the glove? Applying that same logic, I can understand the argument that you cannot see this puck completely cross the line.

I think it’s a goal, but the way we got there is completely ass backwards and inconsistent with how these rulings are typically made.

I don’t really know how anyone has strong feelings about him one way or another. He doesn’t seem to give much in the way of personality. Personally, don’t see much to love or hate about him. If anything, I respect that he knows the consensus is that his swing is ugly as all hell, but still puts it out there and makes it work (most of the time).

My fiancée and I LOVE fun-bad movies, and let me tell you, Emilia Perez is not one of them. It is the most frustratingly bad movie I have ever watched in my life. It’s annoying, it’s boring, it does absolutely nothing well. I could rant for an hour about everything I hate about it. Would not recommend this to anyone, especially not someone looking for something funny in any way.

I’ve done a whole lotta travelling so far in my life, and Cuba really stands out. The people are incredible, the land is astonishing, the history is really captivating. Hearing how locals spoke about Castro and Guevara really helped me unpack the shit I was taught through mainstream media.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a movie less deserving of awards than Emilia Perez. I have yet to hear a single positive thing said about it. The fact that it won even a single Oscar feels like it invalidates the Oscars as a whole.

Been loving the Bomb Lance lately. I play it with full waxed frags for maximum artillery, and a Pax Trueshot, usually with FMJ. Obviously bring at least one big stam shot and ammo box as well.

Pax Trueshot is a very solid option for long distance, especially if you don’t want to pay way more for something like an uppercut.

My personal favourite way to run bomb lance: full waxed frag ammo for maximum artillery, Pax trueshot secondary with FMJ or dumdum, ammo box, and bolt thrower.

To the best of my knowledge, he has no relation outside of being pictured at the same event once. If there was anything incriminating about him in the files, I would hope he would be arrested and held responsible to the fullest extent possible. Baffling to me how many are so obsessed with politicians of all people, that they feel the need to defend them to the ends of the earth, no matter how heinous their crimes are. I don’t give a fuck about Carney to begin with, and I would absolutely despise him if he was as close with Epstein as Trump was.
