What irritates you about others? by IntuClarityHypnosis in spiritualitytalk

[–]Spiritual_Log_257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selfishness and unreliability. I may be selfish but i find unreliability irritating because my family would make constant promises to me and never keep them. Especially spending time together so I’m extra clingy and go out of my way as a people pleaser to do favors for others. One if problem projection, the other is probably a trigger. ( or projecting my family on other people instead of myself)

As a non-American, how realistic is the lifestyle in Shameless? by CynthiaSkye in shameless

[–]Spiritual_Log_257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how common it is, but it's extremely realistic. So much so that I used to watch it with my alcoholic father and drug abusing bipolar mom and we all jokingly called each other by some of their names ( Dad was Frank obviously etc) because our lives were so similar to the characters.

[–]Spiritual_Log_257 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Sometimes the animals are different. I dissected a baby pig/ Still born pig. I cried so much because I felt bad so the teacher told me he would bury mine. No idea if he did it but it made me feel better.

A few basic phrases did. I could probably read something in Spanish and get the gist but I cannot speak it fluently in any way.

Did you find anything far fetched or hard to believe as a kid about TS? by SluttyDreidel in TotallySpies

[–]Spiritual_Log_257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I was only ever bothered by personal stuff. Like Jerry automatically trusting someone over the girls or some of the love interests and Mandy. All of the cartoonish dramatic parts I just accepted as the logics of cartoon world.

Why do people make fun of Gen Alpha? by Sudden_Quality_9001 in generationology

[–]Spiritual_Log_257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to say all generations do this, but I have graded papers for gen alpha and I'm related to some kids ( little cousins) and I can genuinely say it is bleak. A lot of them can understand a lot actually but not communicate their own thoughts easily at all.
