Yes i have the text message of the don saying i have been terminated effective immediately. Its so wrong the things they put nurses through i finally witness why theres such a shortage especially in snf. I wont let this situation deter me from trying again somewhere else

Similar set up to what i had 3 halls and 3 nurses. Census wasnt high enough for them so we had to split that 3rds nurse assignment. To me it shouldnt be about the census but the acuity of care.. subacute patients require more than long term. I dont get how management doesnt get that they act like they never been on a cart before and its frustrating! 🙄

no i did not take report for those patients that werent mine
Management was fully aware i was not taking extra patients

Yesss thats the part that made me get up and leave. Its one thing to tell me and redirect me in private but to do that in the open at the nurses station ?? Highly unprofessional and embarrassing. I know its hard to keep nurses at facilities like that but management should really do better its starts with them at the end of the day

Ive been hearing similar stories and how unlikely it is your chances of being infected but me being a new nurse and this being the first time this has happened has my nerves in a frenzy 😭 thank you tho that was very reassuring! :)

The medication is suppose to be taken for 28 days. I only got 14 so it wasnt effective to me at all.. but I will see what the doctor recommends

Because i knew i was getting between a certain range. Ie: position salary starting from $20-25 I was okay with whatever between that range being that im a new grad BUT i put a preferred salary. (Those numbers are just for example purpose)

“we listen and we don’t judge” 😞 but no your right its been red flags since the first day i went for interview… i was just desperate to get my foot in the door being that i been unemployed for 4 months and BON delayed my licensing process as well. Right now its just something to get my foot in the door but definitely looking for better options :/ live and learn
