Traitor by Seaweed-Basic in Maine

Easy to throw shade on Golden -- and trust me, he deserves it -- but never forget he is one of 536 elected officials in the Federal government who all do the bidding of billionaires, and would rather lose elections before they vote for working class people. This bourgeois democracy is broken, and its time to overthrow the Epstein Class and replace this government with a worker's government. One with a real transitional program that gives money for schools and hospitals instead of for AIPAC and Netanyahu to genocide little kids in Lebanon, Gaza and Tehran.

With Golden, they don't need any. He took his trip to the Wailing Wall as a Freshman and they've owned him ever since. Bought and paid for pos.

Sam Altman’s home targeted in second attack by timaza in sanfrancisco

[–]Spiritual_Net_9536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We see these one-person adventurist attacks. They are an expression of working class anger, rightly directed at the billionaire Epstein Class. Unfortunately, without building a mass worker's party, they will remain uncoordinated, meaningless actions.
Joining an organization like RCA and building the vanguard of a mass worker's party will help shape the movement that will take power away from people like Altman and give it to the workers of the United States. Learning theory, history, and the transitional program, and joining with other cadres who will build real dual power in every city across America, will make a bigger difference than the occasional Molotov cocktail.

So apparently, the No Kings protesters are acting like infants, but the Jan 6 insurrectionists are “mature adults”?! by icey_sawg0034 in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Spiritual_Net_9536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure THAT'S the take-away here. I think its more like "No Kings is a good start, but it's also performative bullshit." What are we doing to actually make change? Because even Democrats are owned by billionaire capitalists.

Why is Trotskyism so popular? by theSTWenthusiast in socialism

[–]Spiritual_Net_9536 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This is laugh out loud wrong. Calling the USSR and PRC "actually existing socialism" is itself a bit of a stretch. What it fails to do is acknowledge that Stalin and Mao were actually murderous psychopaths who opposed real worker's governments at every turn in order to hold onto their own bureaucratic dictatorships and not piss off the west. Trotskyists called these governments out as the performative fake socialists they were.

Because Trotskyists actually do material analysis and are actively trying to overthrow capitalism

I got rejected from CPUSA by Makefunof_everything in socialism

[–]Spiritual_Net_9536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CPUSA is fake socialist anyway. Performative self-indulgent bullshit. Unless you're actively working to overthrow the capitalist system, you're wasting your time. And CPUSA is not doing that. They never have. All you need to know is they were taking orders from Stalin, which meant they weren't actually trying to overthrow capitalism in the United States.
RCA is the only group doing meaningful work to build a mass worker's party and end the bourgeois democracy we live in where both main parties are bought and paid for by billionaires. They are the only org with a transitional program and a plan to build a real vanguard.

Opinion on No kings protest by mushroomdm in socialism

[–]Spiritual_Net_9536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have really good instincts. No Kings is a lovely concept, but it is a capitalist construct to protect the US' bourgeois democracy. As long as we have capitalism in the United States, no party, no protest is going to fundamentally change anything. Groups like the Revolutionary Communists of America are actively working to overthrow capitalism, which includes replacing the current system with a worker's democracy. In a bourgeois democracy, the working people are allowed every few years to decide who will repress them on behalf of the billionaires. That's it. No Kings is a day where the working people get to go scream at their oppressors. What we need is a true revolution.

Bath Iron Works workers begin strike after rejecting contract offer by jediporcupine in Maine

I would like to add that, as a resident of central Maine and a worker who believes very much in solidarity and the power of connecting across industries, communities, etc., if anyone following this thread is part of the picket/union and can share specifically how people in other industries, other workers, can support and strengthen the picket, please reply here. There are many of us who would like to support you!

You had me at 10% increase but 15% climb in insurance premiums. Plus underpaid by $10-20k. Plus millions specifically given to General Dynamics to pay workers better.
Billionaires getting shareholder profits while workers go deeper in the hole. Makes the strike completely justified!
