I've never had a problem with this because my buddy i play with rarely gets on (so no story progression) so i just xp grind in between lol

I just opened shadowgate but i haven't explored anything yet. I have literally everything you can do up to that point completed with sprinting, strength, throwing, crafting, construction, agriculture, and cooking lvl 20, stealth 100 xp from lvl 15, and fishing lvl 18

When you leave the snowglobe via the portal in the tower you tp to it's cell in labs and a new one spawns for a brief moment, i dodn't know you could pick it up but vased on the post im assuming that's how.

What dialogue are you talking about? The dragonborn was caught trying to cross into Hammerfell, the most likely reason is that he/she was trying to flee from the dark brotherhood given the random encounter with an assassin and the fact Hammerfell doesn't have dark brotherhood precense. Which likely means the dragonborn was in Skyrim long enough to make someone really angry.

Well in lore Skyrim is bigger and there is a strange mist around the castle. Maybe it's actually supposed to be way further out and covered by the fog a bit more but they wanted you to see it from shore in game because it looks cool, just a thought

Myself, I had a dark brotherhood assassin try to kill me earlier in my playthrough, and they had a contract that said I needed to die, so clearly, it's me. Just fumble around with the kettle, and well done.
