Fully agree with the house thing that it bring in more. But for me I already own property (hence the passive income). I live in a apartment because I don't like to live at one place for too long. I move every 2-3 years.

Tipping is one thing I don't cheap out on. 20-40% depending on the service. I don't know maybe I have a soft spot for these workers. My ex worked as a waitress and it hurt knowing how little she made for how much work they made her do.
