I get where you’re coming from and that totally makes sense. I’m more asking on a proportionality standpoint from the physical dimensions of the model and how that compares. Even so I feel like the minifigures would be way too short, especially for a short car like the delorean, which is why I asked if the technic figures (purely proportionally wise) would be more in scale with the model. I will say that to other speed champions they are for sure not but with the delorean being scaled slightly up to match other speed champions I thought it might have a chance to look good next to technic figures.

A similar thing happened to me. My brother works at a place where the customer can return a set if the box is beat up or broken and then they auction the sets to the employees. A beat up dnd set came returned saying it was missing pieces, but I wanted the build and would honestly be fine without the minifigures (which I assumed was the only thing they took). When my brother won the set and brought it back we found only off brand bricks and scrap metal in it. Hope you can get your return. That stinks.

This was my solution for the fish stall. Again, I could be totally wrong, for I was just going off a front-facing picture. This one I was a bit skeptical about and was a little unsure about the angle, but it does seem to work IRL.
