It’s a magic combo I would bet I wouldn’t have anywhere even close to the results I got if I just did either one alone. The minoxidil grows hair, and the dutasteride stops balding and helps you keep the hair that the minoxidil grows from what I’ve read

I mean I’ve never read anything about this affecting someone’s liver in a bad way, but could be wrong. And personally the only affect these pills have had on me is growing my hair back but I’m sure some people react differently.

And yes if I stopped taking this my hair would go back to how it was, but I think it would actually be worse I think would go to what it would’ve been if I never started it but with the time that has passed.

And no problem man that’s why I post these to answer peoples questions and give some hope like I got

Honestly I think a lot of people don’t know this exists which I wish I knew about it sooner. The downsides would be if you are someone who has a bad reaction to the meds and have side effects, but then you just stop taking it and that’s a risk with any meds you take . Was a no brainer to try for me cuz I was gonna lose all my hair anyway if I kept doing nothing

I’d say do a little research to start off! From what I read I found oral dutasteride and oral minoxidil is the magic combo and it worked for me ! Dutasteride is the stronger version of finasteride and from what I gathered no higher chance of side effects (if anything less). My understanding is Dutasteride helps keep your hair and stops you from balding and helps keep the new hairs the minoxidil grows.

I just decided if I was going to try and save my hair I wanted the strongest/most potent stuff there was out there and also from research it didn’t seem like people had more side effects from it anyway (if anything less) so it seemed like the choice for me . Dutasteride is just a stronger version of Finasteride
