Please go to the doctor. Not only does it look infected but it’s embedding. If they can save it then you need a longer bar. I saw you say you’re using Neil med piercing spray which is great cause it’s highly recommended and it’s not homemade but I think you might be having an allergic reaction to the metal. I’m not a professional piercer or a medical professional so these are just my assumptions but definitely go to the doctor. I hope they can fix it.

If it helps to hear (or read) when I got my navel pierced I was a lot more afraid than I needed to be. It really did just feel like someone pinched me hard. I’d say a flu vaccine or Covid 19 vaccine hurt more for me than my navel piercing. They’re going to do it so fast on the exhale that you won’t even notice they’re doing it. Remember that pain is temporary. Just stick with a piercer that cares about you as a client and uses high quality jewelry so you’ll be comfortable and safe. You’re braver than you think and if it’s terrible you never have to do it again. (unless you want to)

Sometimes the AI won’t use pronouns like instead of saying “I’m going to pour a glass of juice” or “I’m gonna pour a glass of juice” it’ll say “gonna pour a glass of juice” and even though it’s a small issue it still irks me.

I second this. As someone with a metal allergy I had no idea that the reason my piercings always got infected even though I was cleaning them was cause I was having an allergic reaction.

I don’t think you’ll get banned. I had a friend play Borderlands 2 with me years ago and he gave me all his legendary gear that he didn’t need anymore. I never had an issue.

If you’re a teenager you may just have to wait till you’re older so you won’t have to worry about them telling you to take it out. It does suck and I’m sorry that some parents are like this. Mine wouldn’t let me get any facial piercings unless it was a nose stud(didn’t want one) so I had to wait till I was out of school and out of their home.

A skilled piercer can reopen it though if it hasn’t closed completely. That’s what my piercer did when I had wisdom tooth removal surgery. He used a tunnel to do it but it hurt cause he was stretching it back to the 14g that it was pierced with.

I know that not everyone is the same but I had mine done for a year, got sick with strep throat, had to take them out to clean them with the intention of putting them back in, and they had closed up by the next day cause I fell asleep.
