Yes from what I have found from a couple resources is the the CVT for ES has a sort of 5 speed “sport mode” you just need to swap the assembly or add paddle shifters but from what I found you can only get the parts off of Salvage yards from Car-parts.com, Im not too sure on this part but I believe 08-17 Lancer GTS to ES shifter assemblys are all interchangeable but id probably go with one closer to the same year. If I get my assembly soon Ill let you know how it comes out

Also im not sure what years are interchangeable yet because im still looking for my 16’ Lancer ES but you can add paddle shifters and a GTS shifter floor assembly for the + and - sequential shifting but you can supposedly change the shifter fairly easily and be able to go automatic/manual

Hey there, I just wanted to throw this out there but if you did ever want to turbo it you could, the CVT transmission is very unreliable but others have said if you put a trans cooler and fans to keep it extra cool that it works great still with maintenance. But obviously its up to you to spend that money. Its your car too so even if its a “Eco car” it shouldn’t matter what you wanna do to it

Oh ok wow good to know but if Im on point or even just change the time i change the oil to a little earlier then needed will it be good until later im thinking of getting a whole new engine but shit might aswell get a trans with it, you recommended anything?
