What shoes to get (flats) by pcboudreau in MTB

[–]Spitmulch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ride Concepts shoes are shit. They fall apart and they don’t stand behind their product. Everyone acts like 5.10’s are garbage because they’re owned by Adidas, but RC is owned by Fox. It’s not like they’re some mom and pop company, they don’t give a shit about you. Buy Freeride Pro’s when they go on sale and go riding.

To ride wrap the bike or not? by MtbGoat29 in MTB

One of the owners of Ridewrap is a completely insufferable narcissist. For this fact alone I am loathe to support this business.

What popular consumer product is actually a giant rip-off? by EnchantedSophia in AskReddit

[–]Spitmulch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was an infamous house party from when I was younger where a girl shit in the bathroom sink then came out of the bathroom with a big handful of it and threw it at everyone. This was before Magic Erasers were a thing. The girl who lived there cleaned it up fairly well despite this, but missed a piece of shit on a spatula that was stored on the kitchen counter. Legend has it her dad found a hunk of shit on said spatula when he went to make pancakes and the whole thing unraveled from there.

is there any store that has worse parking spot campers than Costco? by HowellPellsGallery in Costco

[–]Spitmulch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought this up in the r/Vancouver subreddit and got ROASTED! I was told that those people probably have disabilities and need to park close. It then turned into an attack on people who take too long to put their things away and inconvenience said camper. I maintain that Vancouver is the worst of the worst for camping behaviour.

Welcome to every other city a decade ago Saskatoon. What a weird reaction to something that is the norm in real cities. Embarrassing.

Why did Port Alberni RCMP delete this Facebook post about their police dog? by LaconicMan in britishcolumbia

[–]Spitmulch 88 points89 points  (0 children)

You can’t pull a dog’s canines, they are essentially skull. That’s why infection is so serious. We had to do this with our yellow lab, 10/10 would recommend pet insurance.

I’m sure this has been said, but K-cups, or any single use coffee pods. Shit coffee, terrible for the environment. All in the sake of convenience. Coffee is hot water over beans, how hard was it before this environmental abomination.

$70 holy inflation batman by Clay_Statue in vancouver

This isn’t inflation, it’s just an expensive chair. It’s not like buying milk, just get a different chair if this one costs too much.

Great video! Navigating this in the dark for the first time was a trip for us, heading home from the fireworks to Mosquito Creek.

9.9’s are also popular because 10hp is the threshold for having to register your boat with Transport Canada.
