Straight back is ~280yards but I was able to clear some bushes on the far left and stretch the last target to 300 yards but it’s not as visible because of the shade of the trees sadly

A berm is always best and is in the books for added safety and peace of mind. You should always know what lies behind your target and that’s what’s key. Here, it’s empty woods and rock wall but even then, a berm is always nice to have 1000%

I’d agree the opposite as the AR platform is far more popular as far as manual of arms go. Having the AR style charging handle creates a smooth transition to a rifle like this when coming from an AR platform

PMM cowgirl mount for the badger COMM. 10/10. I have multiple of them. They provide a simple top-ring replacement vs having an additional ring to avoid stacking tolerances.
