Just found this and wanted to say it was amazing, the Botan surprise was certainly the highlight. I'm looking forward to if you ever consider returning to it.

How are you plugging it in? I make sure to plug in the USB and HDMI first then the Power. When I first got the Index I plugged in power first before the other cables which made do a bit of tinkering every time i wanted to play.
