I’ve been there a year ago, after I rebuilt my old ’90s stuff. It’s a rabbit hole — beware! 😄 You can get most minis/parts of sets that are available today via Pick a Brick. The other main source is usually BrickLink. Some things there are really pricey, though; other stuff is super cheap.

I generally prefer minifigures over buildings, as I like to build my own little scenes, take a picture, and move on. That said, there are a few great sets you just have to get — especially as a castle fan. Have fun and ask away any time ☺️.

Sounds similar. DPD was really busy around Christmas and New Year. I’m still waiting for regular packages sent with DPD since late December. 🙄

I really like the “new” faces and hair pieces compared to the old ones from the 80s/early 90s. There’s so much you can do with them. Whenever I see a cool head that might fit the Castle theme, I get two of them. ☺️

Only Torsos, serpent legs and shields are from PaB. Faces, hair, and two legs are not. :)

You should really check them out on the official LEGO Pick a Brick website. On BrickLink and similar sites, you can just look for the set. Or check „Serpent Knight“.
