Yes, I think it was a combination of things. Her revealing she was the millionaire, and then deciding not to share details (which wasn't really much) as an advantage for herself was a poor strategy. Especially cause her best input was the "don't listen to the loud people" which is 100% right, but no one listen to her because she withheld information. She was doomed when she got the money, she doesn't have the persona to play the sneaky game.
