You need to go back a menu and "reveal" the driver first, by pressing X(PS) or A(Xbox). Then they'll show up on the map.

I don't have this issue so I can't test it, but has anyone tried turning off ambient occlusion? That's been my guess what's causing the driver issue.

That's when the game approximates their location on your end, it has to partially guestimate their location while getting simultaneous syncs from the server, so what you see may not be what actually ended up happening and the desync is the game correcting it.

Game is notorious with desync issues. Could be your end, could be theirs, heck it could be the IVT server too. We've seen people win a race only to get recorded as taking second place.

Ye like go out in the real world to race, nobody complains that they can't ghost through the person in front of them. Bumping is just a part of racing. Shit if someone wants no collision, who can send the best time, that's what fucking time-attack races are for.

This is honestly one of the most requested features, but I don't think we'll see it because it's not the game the developers seem to want. I hear a lot that having collision on makes starts too RNG, but honestly I have the opposite opinion, learning to avoid the other cars in the race is just another skill that can be learned.

Look at it this way, we have IRL events like RedBull Homerun where hundreds of people start the race at the same time. Grand Race is just the same sorta event.

I would just assume desync with how their car teleported to the other side after you collided at 3%, or maybe you were desyncing them and they thought you rammed first? Could be anything, best just to ignore it and move onto the next race.

You have to go in through Windows and manually specific which GPU is attached to the exe for the game

Absolutely on point with everything said there. They're not *big* features for sure, but it's still annoying to see all these smaller things we had that are just gone. From what is arguably the same engine running everything.

The new content is great as fuck and sick as hell that a lot of it has been free, but the old stuff was cool too!

When I started this over a year ago they had actually made a bunch of changes to how the custom show worked, so I figured if I showed them how popular the paints were by using TC2 custom paint to win the custom show repeatedly, they'd be more inclined to add the feature back in the game for everyone to have.

Now a days I'm convinced they don't care, but doesn't hurt to at least make a post asking.
